I just finished a bottle of flavored water, and saw on the label that it says "CT-DE-5cent refund......CA CASH REFUND" I don't live in any of the states listed, so I was just curious what this means to those of you that do? We just recycle our plastics here in KS, but sometimes curiosity reigns!

Not based on personal taste, but straight sales. Do they rank things like candy or food or anything sold, for that matter? Where could I find that information?

What in the world happened to single-serving Hostess products, at the grocery store? I always used to grab a pack of cupcakes, or snoballs, etc, but the grocery stores only sell Hostess goodies in full boxes now. The only places I can still find the individual serving packages are at convenience stores. Anyone know why this has happened?

- Frito lay (fritos, doritos, tuskitos, lays chips, cheetoes)

Coca Cola Company:

I got me a Turkey, bacon, canberry sauce, pork sage and red onion stuffing, potato + carrot + swede mash, in a pret tortilla wrap.

He has a microwave in his dorm and a mini kitchen down the hall. Right now he's surviving on ramen noodles and college food. I want to give him something that he would be able to eat out of the package or cook easily but something that's not too unhealthy. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Take for example peach halves in tins - they have perfectly smooth curves, as if the peach never had a skin. Or mandarin orange segments that have been skinned and then put in cans.

How on earth, mechanically speaking, do machines peel and skin fruits? Remember also that fruits come in different shapes and sizes, so a machine would have to be able to "adapt" to the particular properties of the fruit it is working with.

I bought a beef sandwich from a shop today, and went to take a bite when i got it home. It was rare and dark pink inside. As i am pregnant i refused to eat it, but my concern was whether people are eating this without realising it? I could understand if it was a steak or roast dinner, but i shouldn't have to check whether the beef is well done if i buy a sandwich - should i??? I didn't think it was hygienic to put rare beef in a cold sandwich? Is it allowed to be sold like this?????
