I have a problem where fruit and vegetables only last about 3 days in our house before going bad. Is this normal? It seems like a short amount of time. Is there a way to make it last longer? Am I storing it incorrectly? I don't put it in the fridge.

Bannanas I leave on the counter
Plums I leave in the plastic bag on the counter

Who in hell comes up with some of the crappy food in the grocery stores. And do the store owners ever taste the s*** they sell?
I had a different business, but I threw out suppliers that made s***.
GEEZ!

unless of course you intend to purchase it or pass the hygene inspection at the enterance as i propose. or possibly we should be stripped naked upon entering, disinfected and made to do our shopping in an environment suit, thus keeping our intended uncovered purchases germ free from dirty shoppers, sneezing, coughing etc or pawing goods with hands that have recently scratched their ****. i would gladly go thro this ritual in order to buy a "clean" crusty brown loaf

I know someone with an almond orchard and they say that the correct pronounciation for the word is ah-monds in stead of al-monds. I'm not sure if they are making it up or if that is actually the correct pronounciation. It's been buggin me, please help

Can I please address this question to the U.K. only.

I'm an oldie aged 76, I have been very sick and I honestly don't have much money.

My fridge freezer needs to be replaced, but I don't want a frost free fridge/freezer. I want to buy something that is reliable and will cost around £200.

I'm restricted on space, my presnt fridge/freezer measures Height 158cm (62 inches) Width 52.7cm (20.5 inches) and Depth 50.8cm (20 inches).
So my new one has to be able to fit into the same area.

Please come up with some good sensible ideas and help me.

When I look at the web pages on my computer I get very confused.

I've always been under the impression that they are but surely they must irritate our insides. I mean just look at what happens if we forget to wash our hands after chopping them. I've had a couple of embarrassing instances with g/friends in the past I can tell you! And without getting too graphic we know that the chemicals in our bellies dont fully break the chillis down as they are still burning hot when they reach the end of the digestive system !!So why eat them?
