With the planet drying up and water becoming a scarce commodity some cities are now forced to drink their own recycled sewerage water. Would you?

They are both set to 0 degrees F, but one of them makes ice cream so hard it bends my spoons, the other keeps the icream fresh. Suprisingly, the one that keeps it good is about 20 years old, while the one that doesn't is about 1 year old. Any ideas? I hate keeping ice cream in the basement freezer, I have to run up and down the stairs.

Fast food is relatively simple - you get white bread, processed meat, the odd, decorational veg, refined oils and fats, and chemical wonders full of sugar (sauces). All of these are tasty to excess, light-weight (transport advantage), and pretty to look at. But it would take little to nudge them into the realm of the healthy, with easily overcome "obstacles" - just replace white flour with wholemeal (substitute fluffiness for compactness, space advantage), continue to use processed meat (not that deadly anyway) and the odd veg, use native oils (only need refrigeration as a hastle-step), and make sauces from scratch without sugar (requires different machinery). The advantage? Your customers live longer. What's the point in killing everybody off with massive heart attacks at age 40 when you can sell burgers to the same people into their 80s? I don't understand why these adjustments are not being made even though everybody knows this stuff. Any theories?

I know that i have used eggs like in cakes before well past the date on the package. But i was wondering if anyone knows how long it's ok to use them just like to make scrambled eggs. I opened one of them up and it looks normal and smells fine.

And get feelings of heartburn and things like that. I don't eat any fatty meat, just tuna, grilled chicken, cooked eggs and things of that sort. I was a raw vegan for a while before starting to eat meat. My doctor says eating this sort of diet will make me better (I have problems with blood, etc.). But I feel very heavy and sick when I eat this food?

Advice of any sort?
