I invited 15 people to Christmas dinner. Four declined so I bought a 14.5 pound turkey, taking into account the children and the one person I know doesn't like turkey. (for him I was going to just get a ham steak) Since then I have found out the 4 that canceled are coming and someone else is bringing an out of town guest. Of these people 2 of them are teenage boys, GROWING teenage boys. I know I do not have enough turkey to feed everyone so I bought a ham too. Is it ok to entertain and not have enough of each item to feed everyone?

Having it at a small hall for about 50 kids, mostly girls, some boys.
Have a DJ.
Evening, 4 hours.
Ice chests filled with waters and sodas.
Snacks and pizza and birthday cake.
Nail salon.
Twister corner.
What else will make this a great party worth remembering?

It has to be something I can make the day before, enough for 75-100 people, and easy on the budget! Time is running out and I don't know what to make. Please give me ideas.

I graduate from school in May in Biotechnology….I want to have an Outdoors Graduation Party for the people who helped me thru school, work, and life because I could NOT have survived without them (I don’t want this party to be about me, but about THEM) . I will have probably over 20 people for it (mostly people over 21 years of age).

My questions are:
1.If you had One Thousand dollars to spend on it, how could you get “the most bang out of your bucks”?
2.What is the best and easiest way to print out flyers for it?
3.Would it be better to have food Catered or to do it yourself on BBQ Grill and in kitchen in terms of money?
4.What type of foods would you make?
5.Are there any good Websites that would help me to have the best Outdoor Graduation Party?
6.What type of alcohol would you serve without going overboard in terms of money?
7.What are some of the Pitfalls that I should avoid while planning and preparing for it?
8.What other things should I consider that I forgot to mention above?
9.Can anyone share any good and bad experiences in terms of Graduation Parties?

I will leave this question open until May……I want to thank everyone who will help participate on my Quest for making this Party happen.

P.S…..I wish I was a Billionaire because I would invite all of you who participate in Yahoo Q & A….You guys helped me be a better person and student!!

My sunday school class is having an am Christmas party at church this coming sunday and we are each to bring our "favorite" Christmas treat to share with everyone. First problem is, I don't have a favorite 'treat'. Plus, I am assuming that they expect something sweet. Second problem is that I HATE having something sweet to eat for breakfast or early in the morning. What can I buy or fix that would not seem like I was trying to out do the others in the class. I'd like to have something healthy, but yet nothing messy.

Hi there, I am throwing my father a birthday party in January and want to have a tempura-making party with a few sushi trays made by his favorite sushi chef. Does anyone have any suggestions for the logistics of the tempura-making? We're looking at a guest list of approximately 30'ish people. Also, please feel free to share your stories of how similar parties have gone and/or recipes. Thanks so much!
