I want to make a dinner for a woman I know, I already asked her, she has no alergies. I don't want to make a 5 course meal or anything. Just something to say, "I want to get to know you better". Any recipes or suggestions?

THEY will be buying everything; having it at THEIR house; and have already sent out invitations. The guest list was a total of 80 people. They wanted me to help come up with ideas; contact/correspond w/ caterer; help set up/break down decoration; and monitor the progress of the party on the big day so they can enjoy it.

I'm looking for a recipie that none of my guests will have tried before that will make them say "omg, this is amazing!" for a pot-luck with some girls from work. Preferably not seafood.
Websites where I could find said recipie are also welcome.

I am not looking for ideas on where to have it or what to have to eat or anything like that ~ I can figure that out. I'm looking into more along the lines of what can I do to make it FUN!!!! I want all of the guests to have a BLAST & never forget this party!!!

The party will be held in Oct. 07' ~ I know it's way far in advance but I don't like to have just a couple of months to do anything ~ I want it to be ALL said and done come Sept.

Can anyone help me? I did get some suggestions but I'm looking for more ~ what I'm looking for ~> decorations, cake, gifts, games, entertainment, etc.

something "romantic" would be great, and a little more difficult than chocolate mousse or chocolate chip cookies :) I'm completely out of ideas!

For a Tri Wizard Tournament:

I need something for the First and Second tasks, I already have for the third.

The first task was to get the golden dragon egg...so i was thinking relay races.

The second task was going into the Lake to find something that was taken (which turned out to be people)...so I was thinking a scavenger hunt.

The third task was the maze, and in the maze was the Sphinx, so i figure I wil do riddles.

What do you think, will this work?

(this is going to be a couple days of activities, the TriWizard tournament was just part of it)

I'm 16 years old. And I've asked my mother if I could have a small "Party Like" celebration in March on the 9th or 10th. Well, she also said that she couldn't not spend no more than $30. I understand that. The only people that are gonna be there is,

~My 9 year old Niece
~My 11 year old Nephew
~My 6 year old Nephew
~My 16 year old Best Friend.

Now my best friend and I are Juniors in High School. We've been friends since little kids. I just wanted my niece and my best friend to have girly type fun. But I didn't want to leave the boys out. SO my questions are...

1)What is a Good Party Theme or something fun we can all have together?
2)What are some good food ideas or Drinks treats or something that we can get?
3)What are some good Crafts we can make?(Something Using Construction Paper and glue or something.)
4)What are some good ideas for Mature Goodie Bags or little Take Home Bags?

Also, what is it called when you wrap up tissue paper and wrap it like a cone.
