I am not looking for ideas on where to have it or what to have to eat or anything like that ~ I can figure that out. I'm looking into more along the lines of what can I do to make it FUN!!!! I want all of the guests to have a BLAST & never forget this party!!!

The party will be held in Oct. 07' ~ I know it's way far in advance but I don't like to have just a couple of months to do anything ~ I want it to be ALL said and done come Sept.

Can anyone help me? I did get some suggestions but I'm looking for more ~ what I'm looking for ~> decorations, cake, gifts, games, entertainment, etc.

The decorations/plates/etc should be black & gold (black for the 30 -- gold for the 50).

I would have two different cakes -- one being a tombstone (for the 30) "Rest in Peace, Youth". The other one should be elegant -- white with gold trimmings.

Well, 30 + 50 = 80.... so....

Have an 80's theme party! DJ playing 80's music from the Billboard charts, 80's food (can you say hot Broccoli Dip and Pasta Pesto?), 80's dress (MIami Vice, Material Girl, Flock of Seagulls, Punk), and decorate w/ magazines from the 80's (buy on ebay, or check out from Library--TV Guide, People, BH&G, Time).....

Do a futuristic, "It's the Year 3050" theme.
