For a Tri Wizard Tournament:
I need something for the First and Second tasks, I already have for the third.
The first task was to get the golden dragon egg...so i was thinking relay races.
The second task was going into the Lake to find something that was taken (which turned out to be people)...so I was thinking a scavenger hunt.
The third task was the maze, and in the maze was the Sphinx, so i figure I wil do riddles.
What do you think, will this work?
(this is going to be a couple days of activities, the TriWizard tournament was just part of it)

I would make the first task an obstacle course instead of relay races. More competition. A really detailed one!!
The second is great.
The third -- do the riddles direct them to another place with another riddle? If they do not correctly get the riddle, they would be directed to the wrong place -- ONLY the correct answer would give the next clue. After 5-6 different riddles, the final place would be the trophy.
Sounds like A LOT of fun!!!

ok for the first task use the plastic easter eggs in the relay...use all yellow ones for the "golden egg" theme. for the second task why not bobbing for apples or something similiar. For the third task combine the scavnger hunts with the riddles. someone already suggested that the correct answer to the riddle will lead to the next riddle and that sound like a great idea!!
foodwise i know jellybelly makes every flavored beans like from the books and movies but im not sure what else you could make. hope these ideas help you and have a great party!!

This sounds like a lot of fun to be had by all. I am interested in what you will be serving to the guests, since you put this question in the food and cooking section. As far as the activities go they seem to be very clever and well thought out. So clever in fact you could become an any event party planner. Maybe a little pumpkin juice and some chocolate caldron's the rest of the foods they eat appear to be normal everyday foods. I hope that I have been some help to you.

Fun ideas - I want to go to your party. I would get something like a watermelon and spray paint it gold for your golden dragon eggs. These would be visually larger, heavier and therefore harder to carry. Then if you oiled them up - it would get even trickier to run through perhaps a little bit of an obstacle course/relay race.
The other two tasks are great!
Don't forget you need to have a dance too! Have fun!!!!
