here is the movie synopsis:

Several interwoven storylines unfold across four countries as difficulties in communication and understanding complicate life in the shrinking global village. A Moroccan shepherd, a pair of American tourists, a deaf Japanese teenager, and a Mexican nanny and her two young American charges are among the characters whose lives connect in unexpected ways.

In March I will have a family birthday party for 19 family members.
9 adults will celebrate their birthdays that are in Feb. & March. My question is, what kind of fun food to serve 7 children, ages between 5-12 yrs. old. I was thinking of having a round table of food for just the children to choose from. And a different table of food for the adults.

Preferably something easy to make, but still homemade. Also one of my guests is pregnant, so no alcohol etc.

I'm thinking its a first come first serve type of deal and if I get there first I'm going to eat as many shrimp as I want (usually I try to eat about 45 to 46), but my wife always tells me I need to stop after about 5 and share with everyone else.

I'm thinking of throwing a dinner party. Do I serve dessert immediately after dinner before the guests get up from the table, or do I wait, let them walk around and mingle/socialize, and then call them back to the table for dessert? I really don't know--never been to a 'real' dinner party!

And what if I have a man over for dinner? Same thing?

I will be 16 in April and I live in south eastern Kentucky. I want to have a really cool party, but there is nothing to do where I live. And I was wanting to keep it cheap. The only thing we have here are 2 theaters, a bowling alley, and a few resturants. PLZ give me any ideas that you may have. Thank You.

I am going to a brunch for 30 people (15 adults plus kids), and will be driving some distance. I won't have access to a stove or oven to bake, but might be able to warm it up when I get there.

People are already making a cheese plate, veggie tray, muffins/breads, and fruit salad. Drinks are also taken care of. What can I make that is easy and portable, and will complement the other foods?

I'm the maid-of-honor at my sister's wedding in September but I don't turn 21 until October. I want to throw her a fantastic bachlorette party but my options are pretty limited with the age barrier. I could get a fake ID easily but I'm not sure If I want to risk getting caught. Has anyone either thrown or been to a really great party that wasn't in a bar?

My husbands turning 33 next month and I haven't thrown him a party in 5 years. I was thinking of renting a mechanical bull but that turned out to be $$$ especially since insurance is invovled. What would be a great party idea or theme? I plan on having the party at my house since I don't want time to be an issue. This way our guests can hang out for as long as they want. Any ideas would be great. I wanted to start buying supplies now. His b-day isn't until the end of March. Thanks!!!
