Simple and Easy.
Take Chicken or Beef. Cube it, or however you want to cut it... really it doesn't take long.
Buy a good Stir fry/Terrayaki Marinade. Toss it in that, leave it for at least half an hour.
Stir fry this, when about done. Add a bag of stir fry vegetables. Continue cooking on low so that you don't overcook meat.
You can even add cashews, and say it's cashew chicken.
Serve with White Rice.
THIS IS A SUPER SIMPLE RECIPE.

Want seafood?
Take shrimp and sautee in pan with dash of salt, lot of fresh garlic and olive oil. When done (will cook fast) add a good bottle of a parmesean alfredo cheese (nobody doesn't need to know it's not homemade) Let it simmer on low until the sauce is warm. Add to pasta and serve with garlic bread/salad.

Want Mexican?
Take chicken, slice it up.... buy a Taco Season bottle from the spice ailse. Stir Fry with onions and whatever else you like...
When it's done set it aside. On the pan, warm up flour tortilla, add chicken and mix with cheese, top with other flour tortilla and flip over... You got Quesadillas... serve with Sour Cream and Guacamole.

A great simple thing my college roommate and I came up with when we were "throwing stuff together" before Christmas break one year...

We call it Chicken & Pasta

Basically you grill some chicken on a George Foreman, then cut it up into cubes (or whatever size you want). The amount of chicken depends on how many people you are feeding. For my husband and I, I usually use just over a pound, and we usually have enough left for one other person.

At the same time you want to boil some pasta (again depends on how many people you're cooking for). We usually use regular spaghetti noodles (try it with Barilla or Healthy Harvest if you're looking for a healthier pasta alternative), but you can use any kind of pasta really.

Once the pasta is done, drain it, and then add the chicken. Using bowls, scoop out how much you plan to eat, then top with Lite Zesty Italian Dressing (Kraft makes one called Light Done Right Italian), and mix together. We usually eat it warm, but it can also be served chilled.

It doesn't sound like much but it's a great meal that doesn't take long, tastes great, and can be pretty healthy.

Cola Chicken - excellent recipe

Ingredients
4 each Chicken boneless, skinless, up to 6 breasts if small 1 cup Ketchup
1 can Diet cola

Directions
Place chicken breasts into a skillet or dutch oven. Pour cola and ketchup over the chicken and bring to a boil. Cook, covered over medium heat until chicken is done (approximately one hour). Raise heat and cook uncovered until sauce thickens. This might take awhile, so keep a close eye on it.

Or dump everything into a crockpot and cook until done (about 3 hours or so).

Veggie Omelets are quick.

We are very busy too, and use the crock pot at least 3 times a week. I have lots of recipes for that, but you wanted quick, so I don't know if you are interested in using the crock pot.

Fajitas are good - stir fry up some strips of meat, buy a bag of stir fry veggies from the store or cut them up fresh, and everyone wraps their own meals in tortilla shells.

Canned chicken, light mayo, celery chunks with crackers or bread squares and a salad make for a quick meal too.

mini english muffin pizzas - kids can make their own toppings, you put on pizza sauce on the english muffin half, they do the rest, bake for 10 min on 350 Another is mac/cheese with ground beef or chicken. 1 lb pkg of elbow macaroni or other small fast cooking pasta, 1 jar Ragu Cheedar Sauce, 1 can cooked chicken breast, drained, a little salt, 2 cups pea/carrot mix or other veggie that they like. Cook the noodles, drain, add the rest and heat up. Should be enough for left overs too. Filling, fast, and very kid friendly. Another idea for you to cut down on time is to prepare all the weeks meals over the weekend. Freeze/refridge and heat up. I love my crockpot because I can make a large batch of chili, we will eat it one night, freeze the other half and pop it in and heat again in crockpot before leaving for work so it is done when I get home. I cook it all on low for the entire 8-9 hours. Gumbo, chicken, meatloaf, roasts, soups/stews, the crockpot bags are great in a real pinch, etc. are all done in th crockpot and then I just heat up frozen veggies or make a salad to go with. If you need a starch, instant potatos or rice/noodle pouches are wonderfully quick. I use two crockpots and rotate out so they are clean and cool on oposite days.

Well, part of what might help is a little advanced planning. In the morning, or the night before, put some chicken breasts in a bag and marinate in Italian Dressing overnight. Grill or broil the next evening and serve with mashed potatoes and glazed ginger carrots. Or, pull out the crock pot and put in a pork roast seasoned with black pepper, salt, and sage. Top with a jar of your favorite saurkraut, chopped apple and brown sugar. Cook on low for 6 -8 hours. Serve with potatoes and green beans.
Take ground beef and add Lipton's Herb and Garlic dry soup mix, 2 eggs, 1 chopped onion, bread crumbs, 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce and make into meatloaf. Top with catsup and chopped up bacon. Bake for approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with your favorite macaroni and cheese and peas.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMERh

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Basic Chinese Fried Rice:

chopped green onions (1/2 cm)
2 eggs (beat)
cold rice (enuff for 4 people) [if you have leftover rice don't throw it away, put it in a plastic container and preserve it in the fridge, cold rice won't clump and is best for frying rice]
salt & pepper
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
bacon bits
diced chicken (left-overs, OK)
mixed veggies (green peas only is best)
vegetable oil or margarine (smells better)

in a wide frying pan or wok, heat the oil or margarine, put in the garlic paste till the aroma comes out. Add the beaten eggs, scramble them. Remove the eggs from the wok. Start stirr frying the bacon bits, chicken and mixed veggies until half-cooked. Put in all the rice, stirr for a couple of minutes and then add the scrambled eggs, salt and pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce.

Stirr, till all the ingredients are cooked, mixed together and there are no clumps of white rice. Serve.

(you could also use 1 tbsp of chinese cooking wine for the authentic chinese taste if you have any)

Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo

1 – 8 oz. Package Philly Cream Cheese (I use the light version – 1/3 less fat), cubed
¾ cup (3 oz.) fresh grated Parmesan cheese (I like De Giorno, don’t use Kraft)
½ cup margarine (I use I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Light)
½ cup milk (I use 1% or 2% lowfat)
8 oz. fettuccine, cooked, drained (I use the fresh Contadina low fat one)

In large saucepan, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, margarine and milk;
Stir over low heat until smooth. Add to drained fettuccine and toss lightly. Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese if desired. Makes 4 servings.

Serving Suggestions:
I serve this with chicken Parmesan, salad, and garlic bread

Quick Chicken Parmesan

4 Boneless Chicken Breasts, pounded flat
1 jar Spaghetti Sauce (I use Prego mushroom and garlic)
3 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, grated
2 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
2 oz. Parmesan Cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 egg, plus 1 tbs water, slightly beaten

Mix Italian bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic salt together in bowl. Beat 1 egg in another bowl, 1 tbs water and a dash of garlic salt. Dip chicken in egg, then in crumbs and fry in oil until brown on each side (10 – 15 min each side). Pour spaghetti sauce over chicken and sprinkle with cheese, cover so cheese melts and serve. Makes 4 servings.

i can tell you how to save time in the kitchen. but it will take one day of cooking.. and you should be good. When i come home from the grocery store i decide what i am gonna need out of the ground beef. i cook up the beef like im making taco's, hamburgers, and even a meat loaf, after its cooked i put it into baggies, throw it into the freezer so when i need it i just pull out whatever i need and heat it up add what i need and dinner is done in half the time.

on to dinner idea's, buy some chipped beef, throw on top of salads for steak salads, you can add fries and whatever else you want.

i love to cook in my slow cooker, throw a roast in in the morning before you leave for work, add a packet of powdered gravy and two cups water. set on low, and by the time you get home dinner should almost be done,, you can add your veggies to it to if you would like, just make sure you pull the roast out the night before so its not completley frozen.

you can do the same thing with beef tips... and they will be tender.

i always chop my veggies while im cooking the meat.. to store in my freezer. and put them into baggies, i buy an abundance of onions and peppers, and freeze some onf them, i even stuff peppers and freeze them so they can be thrown into the roaster or crockpot oneday with a jar of speghetti sauce and onions and peppers.
