Bud Light, Coors Light, Busch Light -- these are the crappiest, most tasteless beers on the market. None of these even taste like "beer."

Coors Light tastes like cold water with a hint of aluminum can and Busch Light tastes like just plain old cold tap water. No flavor whatsoever.

And yet these beers dominate the U.S. market.

I sometimes have a few beers or a cocktail before dinner, then maybe enjoy a glass of wine or two with my meal... some people get sick when they do that... what about you?

I recently bought a relatively inexpensive bottle of Riesling from Cologne. It's a 2006 bottle from the Mosel area. Unfortunately, it does contain sulfides. How long should I keep it? And while I'm asking, is there any must-haves that I should purchase while I am living in Europe?

How should I chill white wine?

Whenever I put it in my fridge, it always has a funny taste after a few days. Is my fridge too cold for white wine or too warm?

At what temp are you suppose to chill white wine?

He is in his 40's and keeps coming to my house for a ride home at 3 in the morning. He was my sons friend until my son moved out and he still keeps coming to our house. I don't think I can put up with it anymore.

He was arrested about half a dozen times but still continues to come to my house for a ride home.

Any Ideas???

Is there a noticeable taste difference between say Jameson's and a whisky/bourbon from the US like JD?

I had irish car bombs with a shot of jamesons/baileys dropped into a pint of guiness and I didnt notice the taste of it- I normally am not a huge fan of whiskey (prefer clear liquor). Do you think I would enjoy jamesons more?

The thing is I am trying to stock up on a few drinks to just have on hand throughout the summer in case people come over or something, and I know whiskey is something I should get too, would jameson's suffice?

I may have to go outside for a smoke, but the pub is empty so I have no trouble getting to the bar. Hurrah!

I've heard this rumor a couple times but have never really been to a bar myself so I was curious. I'm 20-living in Ohio (I know some states are different in their laws). I've heard that as long as someone over 21 buys you a drink then technically you can drink it. Sounds kind of bogus to me, although I know there's something about being with your parents and them buying you a drink.

Thanks. :]
