Is half a bottle of Jack Daniel's six glasses of wine and three cans of strongbow to much to drink before work

Sure i puke all over the bosses shoes make rude suggestions to the office girls and fall asleep at my desk but i can still do my job...........almost.

You're getting about 15 units in the half bottle of Jack Daniel's, probably 10 units or so in the six glasses of wine (assuming 150ml per glass, roughly halfway between a small and large pub measure), and about 7 units in the three cans of Strongbow.

32 units of alcohol before going to work is not recommended if you will be operating heavy machinery or anything else dangerous (you certainly shouldn't drive to work, use public transport and try not to fall asleep before your stop). In fact the only job I think you could realistically do well after that amount of alcohol before work is to test hangover cures several hours later.

It's worth noting that if you drink 32 units before work five days a week, even before the alcohol drunk after work and that at weekends, that would amount to 160 units per week. Some doctors believe drinking 160 units of alcohol per week might have detrimental long term affects to health for some people. Most other doctors believe that amount is likely to kill you sooner rather than later.

None of what you describe is "out of line." First of all, the girls probably never get any attention from anyone, even a drunk, unless you have your daily quota of booze. And, any suggestion is a good suggestion especially if your words are so slurred that your boss does not have to pay any attention to your ramblings. And a little sleep at work can work wonders for your company during the short periods you are awake. Just think: the boss will not have to worry about managing you. He can spend his time with the other drunks who have not had quite as much as you.
However, the answer is YES if you are an Airline Pilot.

I don't drink anymore, but when I use to, I could put a hell of a lot of alcohol in me before getting a buzz. Now, I get a buzz on if I am with a gal that I like, and who likes me.

You shouldn't be focusing as much on if it is too much to drink before work, but on if the office girls like the rude suggestions. If they do I think that you are drinking the perfect amount.
