all hard alcohol does it

I gag as soon as it hits my tounge, I can't get it anywhere near my throat.

Keep drinking or just go to bed? My sweetie is out of town for the weekend and my friends are away or in bed, kids are at their dad's house. I allready took a hot shower and cleaned, did the laundry, now I am having a few cold ones and gettin more bored than buzzed. What would you do?

I know it's not the best way to go, but I bought a bucket sangria mix from Linens&Things the other day and wanted some honest opinions of a good red wine that wont cause a killer headache to go with it.
I love Sangria from restaurants, but have never had an authentic one in Spain, yet!
I've done some internet research but wanted your opinions also.

I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to open a bottle of wine. I got so frustrated with the corkscrew I had to ask myself if it was worth it. My hands hurt from using the cork screw tool, I'm frustrated that it took so long to open. Why use a corkscrew when a twist top will do?

I am opening a bar and obviously the goal is to make profit while keeping a steady supply of happy customers coming through the door. I've been a bar tender and manager in the past and I still can't decide what I should establish as my policy on comps. I know a little "this one's on the house" every now and then makes customers tip better and visit more frequently, and I don't want to be too strict on the policy or too lenient.

What comp policies have you worked with and how well did you think they worked?
