Customs allows you to bring in 2L of alcoholic beverages from Japan duty-free for personal consumption. The snake however might or might not be rejected as a biological, fish/wildlife, or meat without the proper permitting. So either go there, or have friends bring you back some, and be prepared for Customs to confiscate it if they are feeling rigid.

It would look good in the liquor cabinet, but wouldn't be so smart to drink. OTOH, there are people drinking hand sanitizer for the alcohol content!

Sorry, no on the absinthe.
