It is definitely something that you should find out for yourself. Weight is definitely a factor but there are many more things to take in account. Different people have different tolerance levels. Also, it depends if you had food or if you were fasting before drinking the beer. In any event you should learn more about yourself and your limits and when in doubt just call a friend for a ride or catch a cab. Better safe than sorry!!

I would but than I am a beer - drinker and have a high tolerance. For an occasional beer drinker the tolerance is very low and more susceptible to being drunk with just drinking one beer. If you drink one beer and feel rather mellow (numb) or lips a bit tingley than your are a bit drunk and your reaction time is greatly impeded. DON'T DRIVE! I have a friend that rarely drinks and when she drinks just one beer she slurs her words and is a bit wobbly. NO tolerance and never ever let her drive!

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!! If you are wondering if you are legal to drive home after one beer at your weight, then yes, if I were you, I would feel totally comfortable driving home. But remember, two beers in an hour can put you over the limit. Be careful. If you are not comfortable call a cab.

If I was used to drinking beer on a regular basis, my tolerance would be greater and I would feel ok to drive after just one. Since I have not been drinking hardly at all in the last year, I would probably not. I guess it would all depend on how my body reacted, if I got a 'buzz' or not.

One of the main factors is how long ago you (or I, if you're really asking an opinion) drank said beer. If you drank a beer 3 hours ago, you should be fine. Definitely find out what the legal BAC is in your state (IL = .08) -- if youre old enough to drink, you should definitely know this by now.

And if you're underage, dont drive at all because you can "Get got" for having anything in your system.

one beer, yes. but not after two or more. i weigh about the same and used to be quite the drinker, years ago. now after 1.5 beers, i can definitely feel it. and if i can feel it, no driving. i could probably drive fine, but i think the police would have a different opinion.

Depends on how tired I am. I seem to get tired after drinking wine coolers and or beer especially if I just have one and stop.

No way, I'm a cheap date and fall asleep after one beer. I couldn't drive, have no tolerance.

One beer would not affect my ability behind the wheel. I would feel safe if that was my limit.
