It all depends on the person. Some can and some cannot. My husband cannot mix alcohol of any kind at all. His two favorite drinks are jim beam and coke or coors light. If he starts with one, he has to stay with that one drink. He is so sensitive that he cannot even mix two different brands of beer. Me on the other hand I am half his size and can drink him under the table. I can also change my drinks and it does not effect me.

It all depeneds on how much you can handle. And how strong the two drinks are. If you are a drinker then you can mix many different drinks and be okay, but if you are new to the drinking game then more than likely you will not be able to handle to two different types of drinks, but you will still be okay you wont die or anything. You will just get drunk faster and maybe vomit if you get too drunk.
Just remember when you vomit (while you are drinking, not after you have been done drinking for a while) That it is the first sign of alcohol posining. So stop drinking if you go vomit.

I had once a drink whose name I can't remember, but it was made up of 7 shots of different spirits (which is a lot for me, anyway!). Very good. Very sweet. Very treacherous! I had only had 3 beers or so before, but I can't remember the rest of the night AT ALL! Be careful, then! It depends how many drinks you have. If you drink cocktails, try to stick with the same throughut the night. You can mix beer with another alcohol, that should be fine.

Its a known fact that mixing drinks will cuz you body some trouble, the reason is that your body reacts in a different way to drinks, mixing cuzes your body to go sick and tries to expill the drinks out side, it's always a good thing to stick to one all night.

Beer before liquor, get sick quicker. Liquor before beer, all in the clear. You should be fine and be able to drink as many different drinks as you like. Just make sure you don't mix dark liquors with light. You'll be sorry if you do that. Have fun.

Depends on what you are mixing and also depends on the person. I can not mix dark and clear alcohol. I get beyond sick.

The only way you can tell that is trial and error. Some go ok together but some can make you throw up.
