I did this recipe for a bar cookie which I have done many times before, it usually comes out moist and crumbly, but this time it was dense and dry. I had to double the recipe to make two batches could this have caused the change?

So, recently my grandma left something in the microwave for too long, and whatever it was that was in there set on fire. Now this wasn't the first time. Maybe about 2 weeks ago she did the samething.

I believe she's getting too old to handle a microwave, but anyways, back on subject..

So right now the microwave has a very very bad smell.

I was wondering if it's safe to eat things that are heated inside it as of now?

Or whether it's safe at all in general.

Thanks.

It was listed in a recipe in a cookbook I have, and I don't even know what it is? Tried the dictionary and tried looking it up online to no avail...??? I understand there is a place called Auburdine, but that obviously can't be it. Can any one help me. As far as the cookbook goes, the spelling I used is correct.

Fennel is widely cultivated both in its native range and elsewhere of for its edible, strongly flavoured leaves and seeds. The flavour is similar to that of anise and star anise, though usually not so strong. The Italian translation of fennel, finnochio, is a term commonly used to denote a homosexual.

I was contemplating this question today and on one hand, freezers make meals a lot easier because you can just pull something out you bought weeks ago and it willl still be good. But on another hand, meals might taste better without frozen food because like if you were making stir-fry or fish or something, the vegetables or the fish would all have to be fresh and would make eating a lot more enjoyable. What do you think?

as a lot of people do, we keep butter out on a dish so that it is spreadable and soft but we we are concerned that it may spoil. My family has always done it without any issues my whole life but since it's a dairy product and I am now a concerned parent I need to ask the question.
