Seasoned salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Go for some steak tartare at a restaurant....If you want to eat raw at home, go to a butcher you know well and tell him you want meat for steak tartare...that way, he'll give you the freshest meat possible.otherwise, I'd stay off the raw meat, you never know how long that inspected meat has been sitting in the meat section. I don't think meatloaf meat should be eaten raw ever.

It doesn't matter if it is inspected or approved. Any kind of raw meat is susceptible to problems. You don't know how long it sat out during shipping or processing, if it was kept at the right temperature, etc.
People do eat raw meat, you just have to be aware of the risks.

When I was a kid in the 70's, my mom always ate and gave me peices of the un-cooked ground beef she used for cooking meatloaf, etc.I'm still here and so is she.
In this society of sue happy people, the meat industry has alot to lose by oking people to eat raw meat.If i were you I'd buy the best quality ground sirloin, mix in fresh back pepper and worstishire sauce, finely chopped onion, make a little depresssion in the middle of the mix and drop in the freshest raw egg you can get.Oh yeah, wasn't this a delicacy from the last century call Steak tar tare? They knew how to live, the days of wine and roses......

do not eat any of the ground meats raw! it doesn't matter if it has been inspected, it has still been out on the shelf too long.
You can get worms! If you slice off a small amount of steak raw ... that's only slightly better -

Go to a good Italian restaurant and get a Carpaccio Salad. It's made with raw steak, and it is YUMMY!
The steak is tenderized with lemon juice, which "cooks" it.
I would stay away from raw meatloaf.

YES. You can get the inherent diseases in the meat including worms. Just because meat has been inspected doesn't mean it doesn't have germs or bacteria, it just means that the animal didn't die of disease. Animals still have diseases in their meat that is normal for their bodies but harmful to people.

It sounds like you are iron deficient. Go see the doctor and tell him/her what's going on. And yes you can get very sick from eating raw meat.
