I have been talking to my ex boyfriend after being broken up for 5 years. He was my high school sweetheart. I loved him more than I have ever loved anyone else. I never stopping loving him or caring about him but we didn't talk at all the entire time we were broken up. We broke up because he cheated on me. He tried hard to get me back right after it happened and I really wanted to be with him but I was too hurt. He says that cheating on me and losing me was the biggest mistake of his life and that he was young and stupid. He wants me back and says he will do anything for me. I want him back too I just don't know if I can trust him. I'm afraid of getting hurt all over again. They say once a cheater, always a cheater but I'd like to think that's not true in his case. Any advice?

I am fifteen. When I was ten or so my mom gave me the sex talk. We are a very religous family and mom told me that masturbation is sinful and selfish. And that I shouldn't be worried about sexual pleasure.

So fast forward to last month. I was masturbating. Mom came in and we had a talk about it. She said that I needed a whoopin. My girlfriend of two years is about to go to College a couple hundred miles away. I understand that she loves me and I love her but I want to leave a lasting impression on her before she goes to College. This night needs to be all about her. I've asked my roomates if I can have the apartment for the night so it will be only us for most of it. My friend is going to cook us her favorite food. I'm going to have her favorite music playing in the background softly and I bought 20 candles to light up the room. After we eat we are going to watch our favorite movie and cuddle for awhile. I understand girls to a point but this seems all boring, is there anything I should add, replace, or just completely take out?

But I have received some very rude comments. Guys, Indian women needs to be loved and respected to the fullest because this is not America this is Guyana and in America career and materialistics things comes first. Now here is an eye opener and all you have to do is look at an Indian women in Guyana. Believe me your eyes will open because they are just too sexy. I've been out of the dating world for a few years and was not looking to get back in, but I met the woman who really is my perfect match. We have tons in common, feel like we have known each other for ever, etc etc.

However, she left her boyfriend of four years a few months ago, and is now getting into a custody battle with the father of her baby boy. She tells me that this is her priority; she needs to get this resolved before she gets into a relationship. She says she doesn't want to drag out any of her frustration onto me.

I can't seem to get across to her that I understand her predicament and only want to be there to support her. But she doesn't even want to see me until this custody issue is resolved... and that could be indefinite!

I don't want to be pushy and drive her away, because I know we could be together for a long time. But I also can't just sit on my thumbs, knowing what I'm missing!

Any advice?

I am in my mid 30's (so is my girlfriend) and her and her friends talk non stop about their divorce, what their ex's did to them, blah, blah. It isnt a matter of them wanting their ex's back, they just talk all the time about what went wrong and what he did wrong. It probably shouldnt drive me crazy but it does. I feel like it is a victim mentality but, they all want to share their stories. Then I have another group of friends that are girls and their previous marriages are rarely, if ever mentioned. That group is brighter, has more going on and is just more well rounded. So, ladies, if you will answer this honestly, is it just a victims mentality?
