The word I love at times is being taken out of context . I love as woman but not as my wife . I always say I love you to my so and daughter . I say I love you my wife and I mean it . But I am honest with myself . When I say I love you I really mean it and there are days that I love you more then other day as for example more today then yesterday or tomorrow . The word I love you is a word with many meaning for different people . When you are in love its one of hardest thing to describe and feels different to many people . So many people feel that that are in love and actually aren't or think that they are . The word I love you is a meaning of a gesture towards someone . The person that has respect , and honest , passionate , compassionate , and cares and do small things for you are in LOVE . The rest aren't . Good luck

Because guys will say anything to get in your pants. Men are not as emotional as women are. Men are more physical. So we can say things that might mean a lot to a woman, but really doesn't mean anything to us, just to get what we want. So if I have to tell you that I love you in order to have sex with you, I'll say it and not think anything of it because it was a means to an end. Not to be taken literally. If women took the time to really understand men, and how they think, because men and women don't think anything alike, women wouldn't get hurt so much by men.

well being a guy I would say " Because they do love you
at the moment. Its easy for most guys to make that remark,
especially if your in a situation where it just comes out.
meaning it or not. Most guys used the word " Love " and
really don't understand what it really means.

Well guys use love for a lot of different reasons some use it only when they mean it some use it when they think they mean it some use it for sex some use it to make the girl care more for him

Love is an overused word these days...and has lost the real meaning behind it. I would be wary of ANY guy (or gal) who says it too soon, no matter how sincere he/she may seem.
Love takes time.....you owe it to yourself to make good use of that time. What's the hurry?

really i believe they do when they want something from u ya know what i mean they um say it to make the girl think that they are special and then they get what they want im not saying its all of them but a lot of them tell u what u wanna hear so they can get in ur pants

Well, some guys just say that to get something out of it. And some are just trying to be suck ups to you but not always sometimes they say that cause some where in them they really do love you and want to stay in your heart like you are in theirs!!!!! <333333333

don't listen to any of the bitter women who are answering...
guys say I love you bc there are different levels of love (i'm serious). i know it sounds like a cop out but a guy can love you as a friend or want to devote his life to you or anything in between.
