ive known this girl for 8 years. i have dated her for a short period in the past. im pretty much in love with her and she knows how i feel. but she told me she sees me as a brother figure because im always there for her even after she dates these a-holes. How do i get her to see me as someone she could date again?

I met this very cute guy who showed interest in me, would call me and then stood me up. Apparently he was drunk so he forgot about our date. But he kept standing me up and then he would disappear; like he was supposed to pick me up to go eat and he didn't show up and wouldn't answer my phone calls, he would disappear. But he kept coming back to me, even after months he would suddenly show up saying that I was good for him and like an idiot trying to be an understanding, non-judgemental person I'd agree to see him again. I know I shouldn't have put up with it but I was crazy about him. The sex was amazing, he said the best he'd ever had (It wasn't a line). Even though he was so gorgeous he acted jealous over any man within sight and he was suspicious about things I would say, as though I were doing something bad which I wasn't. If he didn't want me then why did he keep coming back and why would he pull those strange disappearing acts? It just bugs me to this day,what was wrong with him?

everytime you tell something like giving up the relationship and just let go, he'll make all the craziest thing like for example bangging his head just to get your attention. how to deal with this kind of person. do you think he's sick? is it love that he's feeling towards me or what?

I am dating a man exclusively now for 2 months. He is 46, I am 40.
He is bothered by me taking phone calls on my cell when we are spending time together. He got jealous tonight, thinking I was in the bathroom texting another man. I was actually checking up on my 12 year old daughter. A lady friend of his pointed this out to him, suggesting that I use the bathroom alot and seem to use my phone alot too.
I assured him that there is no other man in my life. That I am a Mother first, and need to return calls to my daughter at times.

I think his lady friend is jealous of our happiness and looking for things to point out to him about me.

Do I drop it, or tell him I think she's watching me way too closely!

Well I went out to a movie date last night.. I knew this girl from email, she was a friend of a friend thru college, and we had been talking a lot through email and text messages, and instant messages. I never met her in person before. Well finally we went and saw a movie tonight, and there wasn't much said. We talked for a few minutes before and after the movie, but right after the movie she said, "Well I had a great time, real fun, I guess I'll talk to you later." And that was it, we both left. No hug or anything.

During the movie, we didn't hold hands or anything like that either. She put a few pieces of gum in her mouth but that could mean nothing.

Anyway, what do I do now? What does it mean? Not interested? Taking it slow? Should I let her call me and ask me again, or what to do?

to Hawaii with me, for one whole week. We would lay on the beach, go swimming, eat at a Hawaiian feast, watch hula dancing, lay on the beach, swim and tour the islands. I would make sure that you would enjoy it all, before coming back home.
The only requirement would be....that you would only take your bikini swimsuit with you, and nothing else. Would you go.????

OK I'll try to make this short. I dated my ex for a short time then HE ended it. He's 26, I'm 21. He has lots of experience with dating, while he was my first kiss & first bf. Our relationship was so innocent, cuddling in his room, holding hands, kissing. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. He would still say hi to me on msn even though HE ended it. It has been over for more than ONE YEAR. 2 months ago, he called me, after one yr. & wanted to make plans together so we could see a movie sometime. We set a date, he picked me up & after the movie he took me home. On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to "see me every once in awhile". I felt disrespected so when I got home I said "bye forever" to him on msn. Then I felt badso a week later I said sorry to him on msn. Sincethen I have said hi to him 2 on msn.Then a few days ago he said hi to me on msn & he wanted to know what I had been up to. What is he doing?

I met this guy a couple of weeks ago and we clicked so last night I asked him out. (Even though we had already talked of hanging out I wanted to make It just the two of us) but he never really got around to answering the question. But he still called me this morning and I talked to him tonight as well. So what should I think...that he just automatically assumed that we would be going out or that he just thinks Im joking? I like him and he tells me I worry to much about things and that I should let It ride but I still want an answer. Should I push for it or just 'let it ride' like he said to do? And why Is it that he keeps telling me Im going to be moving in with him and asking "when are we going to get married and have kids" Is this his way of joking around with me or Is he bieng serious? well. this PAST summer...oh yeah by the way. im 13 and my cousin (dakota) female is 14. ok back to the story. me and dakota was in westvirginia this past summer being with my grandma and we kind of had a bad summer and kind of a good summer..im not going to get into that subject. but now that were back in ohio i asked my cousin if she wants to go to westvirginia agian and she keeps trying to say no in a NICE way.. but i miss it tooooooooo much down there and i want to go back and live there but i want dakota to go with me and i need to know how to get her to want to go to westvirginia. i mean my LIFE is westvirginia and i miss it sooooooo bad. i want to live there sooooooooo bad but i want DAKOTA TO WANT TO LIVE there to!!!!!! i need some GOOD answers to this question. not somthing like (if she doesnt want to do it you cant make her) i need 2 know wat 2 do2 get her 2

Weve been together for about 4 months...he moved in about a month and a half ago, he is 34, im 25...it all went downhill surprise surprise as soon as he moved in (i never wanted him to in the first place)...ive done some pretty immature and stupid things since ive moved in...such as drinking and crying for two hours, etc...but it all stemmed from something he had done...such as seeing condoms in his see-through travel bag..which he didnt use and they were old but it still upset me...i went out of town a few days ago to visit my family after an awesome weekend, we went to a wedding...he carried around my wine glass, kissed me...grabbed my hand when other guys talked to me...kept hugging me before i left to go home to visit my family...today, i noticed on his myspace that he did one of the surveys and answered the question that asked what age did he want to be when he had children...he said he has to find the mother first and ask her, the other half of the orange...he also wrote a bulletin titled E-...he said, i have no clue how to contact you and myspace is not helping...see he asked out this girl named Elizabeth on there 2 weeks ago (we were fighting at the time...and hes jealous of my guy friends although he encourages me to hang out with them), he apologized to me and said they never met up...one of her friends left a nasty comment after him so im assuming she doesnt really like him...anyway...who is this E- person? There is no one on his friends list with that first letter in their name...did he just do that bc he thought i would see and get jealous and ask about it and think it was this Elizabeth girl? Hes 34 for Christs sake! I sent him a text message yesterday saying i missed him and he never responded. Im just sad, i want to be the other half...i would make a good wife and mother of his children...God im pathetic...

I often get asked by guys if they can have my number. ANd usually i cave in and give it to them to be nice, even when I don't want to.
I don't want random people who i have no interest in calling me, but i don't know how to say no. I've tried telling them that I have a bf, but usually they will say, "oh i just want to be friends" which is usually not the case.
I can't seem to say no. I know how much risk and effort it takes for a guy to not only approach a girl and talk to her, but to ask for her number. It makes me feel bad.
Any ideas?

First of all I have broken up with this guy just once..and I second thought myself.so when he made an effort for me to take him.I took him back.Then few months later he broke up with me saying that he was "confused, wants to see what's out there." Then when it was my turn to come to him, he didn't want me back. Then winter break past, we got back together, I don't know why I even gave him another chance but I did. and because he said he does not want to be with other people. and doesn't see himself with others than me.(since I am very non-judgemental, very accepting, learned to love him) Then few months later, which was few days ago, he broke up with me the second time, this time giving me bunch of reasons, which I did not understand. saying that "[I] am not the right one and [he] is not the right one" also "[he wants] to move on ASAP, and that is what [he wants] to do" in my face. What kind of a person would do that?

The odd thing is when working, being round me she is nervous, jumpy and always wanting to do something. She sits gets up, rocks and plays with her hair in a spaace of a few minutes. She comes in sits down does this in a space of 2 mins. I am really trying to fight this but damn hard and at times think I am winning. Things have turned for the negative in terms of tension between us and trying to avoid eachother, and I think we r trying to rather focus on our work more than anything else. Is this an infatuation or mutual, as she is not like this with aybody else.
