You could be a total ***** and give them a fake number.
You could say you are getting a new phone and don't know what the number is.
You could give any number of lies to the poor guy.
Or you could not be a liar, show some confidence and self-respect and just tell them you aren't interested in dating.
Giving your number doesn't mean you have to go on a date with them.
You seem like you need a real man. So lets date, can I get your number? (JOKE)
If you don't really have a boyfriend now, I say good luck, but don't complain about being too pretty!

What you could do is to tell them 'i dont have a phone'.
Or you could give them this number: 0419 317 446
which is the rejection number. You will get a voice
message that politely says: "Hi, you've called the
rejection line. The person who gave you this number
never wants to see you again. We'd like to take this opportunity to officially reject you. Have a nice day."
Or you could also just make up a number.
Or tell them that you got a new phone so you can't
remember your number.

Simply tell them no. Sounds like you have been pushed over quite a bit, a little bit of assertiveness goes a long way, and men appreciate honesty.
If you tell them you have a boyfriend and they are interested in being friends, tell them thats nice but you simply don't have time for new friends.
It may take some nerve for a guy to ask for a number, but you are not the only one they are asking.
Before my current relationship, I never asked girls for their numbers, I always felt if they wanted me to call them, they would give me their number.
I like how you are aware of feelings in all of this, but you have to pay attention to your own.
That or become a hermit and don't talk on a phone, tell them you only communicate through E-mail.
I only communicate through Email at work and it works out great for me, but I am kind of an odd duck...... good luck either way,

Don't feel too bad, it's really not that hard for most guys. Tell them that you're with someone and that it wouldn't be right for you to accept.(you could be with your cousin at the mall as far as you care, but anyone counts.) Believe you me, it'll save a lot of trouble later down the line.

Grow a spine. I don't mean to sound harsh, but if you let a stranger influence you into dating them just because you don't want to hurt their feelings, who knows what other part of your soul you'll be willing to give up just to keep the piece further down the line. Eventually you'll be sacrificing your happiness just to please. It ain't worth it!!! I KNOW!!!!!.
Just Say NOOOO!!!! ... Or tell them you're already dating someone.
