I am from Canada and have been dating a girl from Manila now for 6 months. We met on the internet and we have since met in person. During our meeting we spent 3 weeks together where i met her family, both of us say we are in love with the other. I am quite young and so is she.
I have been thinking about marrying her, and was wondering what the pros and cons of marrying a girl from the Philippines?Is she trustworthy? Will she be a good lover? Is she after my money? Will she be faithful? What has been the experience of others?

Don't get me wrong i am very positive about this relationship as she is very nice and from a nice family, we are in contact every day and her living standards seem ok, but i thought it would not hurt if i asked these questions, as there is alot of negitivity about filipinas on the internet, ie - they are all crazy!

gets real emotional? On top of this he says he doesn't wanna never see me again, and he says he isn't sure of anything at this point in time. We were living together for about 6 months and we had been dating for almost 2 yrs prior to moving in together. When ever we discuss the issue he gets very emotional. Is that a good indication that he still feels a lot for me maybe even love (the kind 2 people have when they are in a romantic relationship). I am giving him space and our current status is seperated. I am still in love him with him, and this is probably the most dificult thing I ever done.

there's this guy at my school, and whenever we see each other we say hey with a big smile and sometimes 'how are you?' or 'what's up?'

he wished me a happy belated valentine's day but then when i talked to a mutual female friend, she said that he didn't wish her that.

sometimes we stare at each other from across the room, and whenever i walk past him i can feel his eyes on me.

my friend told him that i really like him, and he said, 'lol', when she asked him whether he likes me, he said, 'i really don't know, i don't have time for a relationship right now cos i'm so busy with big exams coming up'

when i talked to him on msn, he complimented me on my display picture and said that i was 'looking really cute in the pic'

he knows i like him, do you think he likes me?
and today when i wished him a happy birthday, he gave me a hug!

For instance, why would you push away someone you care for and want to be with? How can you tell someone denies their feelings and what signs can you look for? I think people should just be honest about their feelings for someone, though I'm sure it's not easy. What do you think? Have you denied feelings for someone and why?

Also whenever I go to stub my ciggerette out, I find the ashtray full! I think you will find it as shocking as me to find it still full! She never emptys it! Whenever I am making out with my girlfriends at a club guys always try to grab us and join in. Its so annoying!!! Can't a girl get some lesbo fun in peace? what is the thought on mail order brides I realize most women are mad about it thinking the man wants a submissive or subservient woman. most men I have talked to say it is because american women expect to much of a free ride (mind you this is only a small group of friends I have asked 4 married 6 not married) one even said american women tend to do what they can till they get the ring then do less because if they get divorced they get half anyway. another pointed out a woman and/or man who get married tend to do less to keep them such as the woman/man suddenly not going to the gym being romantic or even affecianate. what do you think the difference in mail order versus home grown is?

P.S. if all you say is the ones who order mail order are losers I don't even want to hear it. I want thoughts not stupid unwitty answers, or at least be original with it. use a brain cell or two their cheap.

Was seeing a guy 2 years ago, he gave me broken promises as he was unsure of commitment. 2 years later i have been so much more successful and have brought a new house also. I just sent him a birthday text 2 years later as I had thought of him, just to be friendly and now he wants me back but something serious. Do I get back with him knowing what he did in the PAST. Would YOU if someone you really liked ended up giving empty promises and didn't commit because they probably knew they could end up hurting you in the past??

I dont mean that in the "pervert" way either sorry.
the last real relationship i was in was good in the beginning but before that relationship failed it got really bad.
he cheated so I cheated to get back at him, we just went through this same pattern for awhile.
i even seen it with my own eyes and i still didnt leave him.
one night though i finally did.
now i am in a really good relationship, my fiancee and I have a daughter and have been together for almost 6 years.
BUT
I find it hard to believe that he doesnt cheat on me.
I know he doesnt, but yet i accuse him of it.
I have never heard of,seen him or had reason to believe he cheats.
he has friends that are girls and I accuse him of them or girls that he works with.
when i do accuse him he says he doesnt cheat on me because he loves me.
am i supposed to rely on just those words?
is this relationship doomed because of my jealousy/trust issues?
was it my last relationship that made me like this or is it just me?

My boyfriend has been really stressed down and not feeling well about his job situation. He has been trying really hard to get a new job, attending all different kinds of interviews while working full-time. He has pulled away from me during this time but he did explain to me that he needs to do that. I was not understanding of his stress and I became needy and I started to question him and doubt his love for me. This only made things worse between us. He tried to explain himself again but I still questioned him and I asked him if he is avoiding me. He got upset and yesterday he told me that he is not happy with me anymore and he is thinking about leaving. I asked him if it's his last decision and he said he needs time to think but he thinks he will leave. I sat down and wrote him a letter, where I said I was sorry for being so needy and mistrusting and I tried to appreciate all the good things he does for me. I am so sad and scared of loosing him. Do you think it's the end?
