i've been noticing this guy recently. i see him everyday in the halls and we've made eye contact several times...but that's as far as it got. he and i have never even spoken to each other, so chances of us going to prom together are slim to none.
very few people know about this particular crush, and so when i was talking to a friend about prospective prom dates, she goes, "i think i'm going to ask _ to prom." she has no idea i've liked this kid for months. what should i do?

Have you ever had that really nasty feeling that you cant shift at the bottom of your stomache when the one you love and want doest want you, when you realise they are making a fool of you by feeding you what they think you want to hear!!!
I can eat , sleep, think , or even breath with out that horrid feeling. love sucks!!!

I've been missing a girl for 11 months. I hadn't been bugging her since she didn't want to talk to me anymore. We said hi occasionally, I thought things would be cool between us. I tried to talk to her. I said Hey how are you? She said nothing. I tried to talk about how she was helping with something (she was inactive at the moment). Still nothing. I told her I know we haven't talked in the longest time (I liked her, then fell in love with her, but she never liked me back), but I only wanted us to be friends again. I couldn't bring myself to say I missed her because it seemed like she wasn't hearing me. She kept her back turned towards me, unlike when I saw her sneak so many glances at me this past year. She texted on her phone. She never even looked at me, never said a word. I wanted to say what I felt about her, but all my feelings about her besides "I love you" wouldn't come up. I wanted to say I love you. I just said "ok, I get the point, you don't have to say anything else.

I live in New York City, and the combination of a heavy rotation of houseguests and a tiny Manhattan apartment has made an inflatable mattress an invaluable investment.
Recently, a few friends stayed over me house cuz it was too late to go home and they were a bit drunk. I let the couple sleep in my bed, and me and my friend crashed in the living room. I on the couch and she on the air mattress. Anyway when the couple woke up, they asked me to borrow the air mattress cuz they'd have a couple of guests in town. A week later, when I went over their house for dinner, I noticed the mattress deflated in the living, and I asked them why they hadn't use it. They sheepishly admitted that it was broken.
Here's the dilemma. They said that they tried to inflate it when they got home, but there was a leak somewhere, so the guests just crashed on the couch and floor. I'm fairly certain that it wasn't broken when I gave it to them, after all I just used it! Could it have broken in transit?

Well there's this 15 year old girl, (I'm 17), whose been interested in me for 2 years - we went to highschool togeher, now I'm in college - we're more like friends with benefit and I really don't want to go out with her and she seems ok with that - but do you reckon I should have sex with her? - She's not someone I want to be with in a relationship, dont know why...just don't feel that way about her - i guess the attraction on my part is purely physical - do you think it might complicate things If I had sex with her?

My ex girl friend and I broke up last month after a 6yrs relationship. She said she needs some time to figure out what she wants and therefore dumped me in the process. I still like her a lot but she says she does not have any feeling for me and sees me as her best friend. Last week we were spending some time together and one thing to another we started kissing. She mentioned if this wrong but we both agreed that it didnt feel wrong. We eventually ended up having sex that night. I am just confused what going on through her head. dad just asked about my girlfriend, your not going to marry her are you?? i was like how should i know, im 16 for crying out loud. 16 is way to young to be married, (i think one should wait at least untill 25--if your in love) yes, i am thinking about marriage in the future, but not now. its just the girl he was asking about i am pretty serious about, but i dont want to be thinking about marriage untill i am at least of legal age. how should i react when someone says that??

A guy friend of mine has always been like an older brother to me(though only a 1 year age difference).We've been good friends, & he annoys me, just how it goes. About a week & a half ago he started acting odd, writing notes that said I<3U & trying to put his arm around me, etc. It seemed to just be a matter of time though because he does this to just about every girl he knows at some point. What I hadn't realized, was that he had done things that were kind of rude to other girls. Just to let you know, I'm in 7th grade & the guy is in 8th. Well, he had done things like try to look down girls shirts. I haven't spoken to Aharon since Thursday because of something I feel crossed the line by a long shot. He had said to another guy that he had rented a room at the holiday inn w/ an xtra large bed for me & him! I was infuriated with the vulgar, embarrassing, disrespectful comment. What do you think I should do, for I don't feel the silent treatment is enough. Also what r ur opinions on this?

What was the STUPIDEST thing youve ever done...............iv'e done my fair share of them..........one that comes to my mind is the time when i was in church, and me and my mom were siting in the top balcony. I was dangling my shoe in the creves of the balcony holes, wene my shoe fell hitting an old lady in the head...............as my heart sank to my stomach........i slowly peeked over the ledge and the whole congregation was looking up at me!!!!!!...................can anyone top that!!

Alrite, Im only 15 & he's 24. He's kind of in an on & off relationship with another girl & i think he loves her. He says he likes me & I like him alot too. I don't wanna lecture about the age either, his girlfriend right now is only 15 too so it doesn't really matter about the age. I don't know if i should get in the way of their relationship, but i dont wanna stop talking to him either.

so last night we had this dance and i guy ive liked for some time now was there.
before the dance he would always talk to me and hug me and flirt with me a lot.
my friends kept pushing me to dance with him and this ***** told him i liked him.
we danced for a couple songs and then a slow song came on and my friends pushed me into him.
we danced for a little bit then my friends strated talking to me [he DIDNT hear what they said] and the guy i like said "no" and walked away.

WHAT DID HE SAY NO TO?

later i was sitting down with my friends cuz i was really sad because i thought he had rejected me.
he came and sat down with us and kept asking what was wrong. i just kept being sad.
he sat there until the end of the dance.

also during the whole dance, before i dance with him he kept on hugging me and saying "shes mine"...but im not sure if it was a joke or not, hes been doing it for some time now.

so DOES HE LIKE ME? or should i just give up?

I like a really shy college girl at church! She knows it bc she heard a rumor and I confirmed it! Somehow I don't think she believes me.
She is shy around me and ignores me, but will stare at me. ...sometimes with her friends, brother and sister. She will not engage in eye contact unless it is across the room.

Her mom would stare at me with a blank look before, but now she smiles at me when she sees me.

Her dad would try to avoid me, but now he makes it a point to come start a conversation with me. ...but he keeps it limited. If I start talking too much he will say he needs to go. Her little brother looks at me funny, also.

The girl is shy and does not like a fast mover. i.e. I can't just immediately ask her out or I would have done so already.

What is happening and how do I handle it?
