i want to know wat happened w/ u the first time u had sex. did u regret it or were u happy? im only asking so i know if i should wait to have sex w/ my boyfriend so i wont regret it.

If he tries some line like "if you love me you'll do it" reply sternly with a "if you love me, you'll wait".
I have no regrets about my first time because I was sure of myself that I was ready even though I had been pushed to do it with other guys before. It was a bit uncomfortable but overall it wasn't bad. I am actually still with the same guy and have been for 2 1/2 years. Even if we broke up tomorrow, I would be fine because I waited for someone who shared my feelings. Be in a long term relationship before even considering it. 2-3 months is NOT long term...wait at least 6 months to a year in order to be sure that BOTH of you have deep feelings for each other and that the relationship is strong due to love and devotion, NOT physical attraction.

You sound young so PLEASE WAIT! My first time was when I was 18. That may sound old to most people, but looking back I have always regretted it and wished I would have waited until I knew where my life was going, what I really wanted, etc., and not do it because of pressure or the need for "acceptance." I ended up getting pregnant a year later (with someone else -- the first guy didn't care about me at all and only wanted sex). Although I don't regret having my son I just wish I would've done things differently and had a chance to live life for a while before settling down. Get to know your bf and enjoy your time together first. Waiting until marriage is a good idea, albeit a little unrealistic to many people. Think about what it is you truly want and don't have sex for the wrong reasons. Love is the only reason you should do it, and it takes time to know if you truly love someone or if it's just a crush or fling. Good luck to you!

I regreted having sex for the first time. In the beggining I didn't care, being a rebelious teenager and such it was something I just thought was a whatever, but then it turned out the guy didn't even care for me in the slightest of ways and it devistated me, I went through more depression than I ever have, and I wish that I could have waited just a little bit longer, to find maybe not the love of my life, but someone who really cared for me and not just the thrill of taking my virginity.

I don't regret it but I think that I should have waited longer - much longer. Actually, i wouldn't mind if I waited till i got married. When I got married, i wish i could have given myself as a virgin to my husband. Like i said, i should have waited. I recommend you wait also.

well, i don't regret my first time. even though im not with that person anymore. it makes you alot closer & alot more attached though. if you really care about this person, & you have the instinct that you are ready go for it.
its not that big a deal & you'll realize that after you do it.

you won't regret it if you are completely in love with and him and trust him with your heart. also, you probably aren't ready if you are having to ask about it. wait until it feels right.
