I like a really shy college girl at church! She knows it bc she heard a rumor and I confirmed it! Somehow I don't think she believes me.
She is shy around me and ignores me, but will stare at me. ...sometimes with her friends, brother and sister. She will not engage in eye contact unless it is across the room.
Her mom would stare at me with a blank look before, but now she smiles at me when she sees me.
Her dad would try to avoid me, but now he makes it a point to come start a conversation with me. ...but he keeps it limited. If I start talking too much he will say he needs to go. Her little brother looks at me funny, also.
The girl is shy and does not like a fast mover. i.e. I can't just immediately ask her out or I would have done so already.
What is happening and how do I handle it?

Well based on the behavior of her family, she might like you also, or they are encouraging you to talk to her and ask her out eventually (maybe you are a nice kid and they trust you) but i'd recomend talking to her getting to know her better. Or if you feel comfortable enough talk to her parents about maybe going out sometime. Just take it slow.

Dude obviously these people are a bit old fashion so you will have to handle this the old fashion way!! I would call the father up and ask to come and speak to him. Then go over there and ask permission from him to take his daughter out. Have respect he is the dominent male in the house and I can assure you he will have more respect for you for it. Then if he gives his permission he will say that is it up to his daughter. Then ask her out. It will give her more confident with the support of her family knowing it was ok to like you.

She dosent like fast paced? slow it up..
just tell her...
"(insert name here), I am Interested in having you as More than a friend, But i see that your shy, and probably dont want to move into things quickly, so heres my number (Hand her a card with your number on it) and Maybe you could give me a call when your ready? Untill then, i would love to spend more time with you. ^.^"

I think that you should take it really slow, just talk to her a little about simple things, because to me it sounds like she really likes you too. But like you said she is really shy!

she likes you, so why not ask her out but with a group of you, or pair up with in helping with the church. so you can get talking to her.

you are really attracted to her and she is to you..pretty obvious..just take it one step at a time until you can start a conversation with her..then that's the time you can ask her out..just be patient and continue to be-friend her family

hmmm,you could ask her dad if its ok to date her,,if he sees your interested maybe she wouldn't feel so shy,,she would know you were a nice guy
