So.. there is this guy i like... he is 18. Im 16.
the age... is it wrong?? i mean i'll be 17 in a week...
i use to work with him and he use to flirt with me a lot...
so i thought he liked me.
then about a week ago, he calls me, we were talking and he asked if i wanted to sleep with him.... i fliped out..
and then he said he was joking... like what the hell???
should i go out with him?? and see if it works? because he is a good guy.. he has like 2 jobs. very hardworking.
we talk a lot.
what should i do?

Go out with him but know in the back of your mind what his true intent is however people say when you see a red flag you should be concerned.

Did his "joking" give you comfortable & loving & fuzzy feeling for him? Yes - No
What if you are alone together and he asked again, would you be pleased? Yes - No
What if he didn't ask and just started to touch you, would that be ok? Yes - No
How many Yes? How many No?
You need to ask why he thought it was ok to ask the question in the first place. Does he think you are "easy" or interested because of the flirting.
It could be he was just joking..., sometimes we guys say really dumb things when we like a girl and we are trying to joke around. However, he did go a bit to far.
On the filp side you know he is interested in having sex with you - and interested enough to "joke" about it - fore warned...
yet does not mean / make him a bad guy.
If you go out, make sure it's to public places and maybe meet him at the place for the first few dates. If he gets pushy about getting "alone someplace" I would suggest you say no and find a group or couple to "be with" on the way back to your car

Well to be honest the like 2 jobs means nothing and if you like him you are going to do it no matter what. The age thing is not a difference that matters at all the comment he made I think you should consider there is truth in every Joke.

hmmm.........Did he just randomly ask u to sleep with him? That is weird. If he was serious, don't go out with him. Sometimes guys and girls test each other. Maybe he wanted to see what u would say. if u were like, "oh yeah, sure." He would have thought u were a skank. But you didn't ( I assume) lol Maybe he was just testing you. Talk to him about it. no. i dont think it is wrong to go out with a guy who is two years older... or one year and 5 months older or whatever. its okay! guys are supposed to be older anyway.. well.. 'traditionally'. but he is considered an adult now. still. that shouldnt stop you from going out with him. he seems hardworking and responsible enough to be a good boyfriend. and he probably wont hurt you. give him a shot and if things dont work out. you guys can just stay friends again. :)

I dont think he really appreciates you if suggests to sleep with him even if he was joking. So no. But thats not o say you shouldnt get to know him better. you never know he might be the ONE. but wait a while to have sex with anyone.
