Men...if you have expressed words as " I love you " or " I think I'm falling in love with you" within first week or several weeks. What was woman's response...the outcome...why the desire or felt need to express such emotions so soon ?

I've been friends with a guy for going on three years. We met over the internet and he recently moved to my area. For the first month we were together non stop. He had previously told me that he met someone else who lived here. He started spending time with her and has stopped spending time with me. I knew we weren't going to have a romantic relationship but now he has ended our friendship and I can't stop thinking about him. He was one of my closest friends. We talked almost every night, I told him things that I couldn't tell my other friends. I miss him so much. I don't know what to do. I'm heart broken on so many different levels. Someone please help me. I need some advice. Do I just let him go or do I fight to get his friendship back?

Most these relationships seem to not have any future purpose....I'm in a serious relationship now, with my current boyfriend. I'm almost gave up dating at finding out most people enter these relationships for just sexual intercourse.

Just wondering! I hang out with a bunch of guys and I hear them talk of sex stories, old & new. I hear things like she was lame! Or that was a good piece of @$$! She was a freak and just all diferent stuff like that. So of course I know that lame is bad and so on but im not really sure what it is that makes someone lame or good

I have been at school with this guy since kindergarten(11yrs) and he has just changed schools. We were really good friends the whole time and we got on really well. My best friend, this guy and me always used to hang out and play music. Life was great until I worked out that I had feelings for him. I told him I liked him and he kinda avoided me for a day. I rung him up and apologised (he always hated confrontations of any kind) so we have just been 'friends' ever since. Now he's gone we keep in contact (I call him every few weeks). I still really really like him and have been out with a different guy (huge mistake) So I dunno what to do. Should I just leave it? Or should I continue living in the past and chasing lost dreams?Anyway any advise you could give me is much appreciated..... thanks

I saw a picture of my ex-boyfriend with another girl and it kinda bothered me. I saw the picture on his facebook account. I mean I dunno why I felt kinda hurt? We only dated for a month, then HE ended it saying he was busy, and we never had sex cuz he knew I'm saving myself for marriage. It seems lke he's a player. But he was my first bf and first kiss so could that be why it bothered me? Girls have u seen pics of your ex with another girl and if so did it bother u too? How did you get over the pic and not care? I don't understand why I still can't get over my ex-bf. I mean I never gave him my virginity so why do I feel still kinda attached & why do I hold a soft spot for him in my heart? His staus on facebook says that he's single so do you think the girl in the pic was just a friend? Also, on msn he was listening to PERsian music and he's NOT persian but I am. I never introduced him to persian music & I know he never listens to this kind of music, So does it mean hes thinking of me?

..... One of my best mates knew I was really keen on this girl I met at work - and when they met, my friend decided to 'go' for it...my 'work friend' kinda went for it too.

Now I'm thinking,- my friend has disregarded my feelings and gone off with the girl I liked from work.... is it me or is my friend totally out of order?

I met a 25 yo girl at church last month. she seems confident and she keeps wanting to start a conversations with me.

She asked for my email and phone number one night which I politely gave her so she can send me additional info on the group which she did. why did she need my phone number?

Last week when she was leaving church with her friends she told me we can have coffee to discuss anything. I took no notice at the time.

Last night I saw her at church gathering. We made about 5 silent eye contacts in which she keeps looking away. She started small talk with me again. During the night I notice we kept making silent eye contacts. She would look away quickly. but when she was leaving she hardly gave me a nice goodbye like she did with everyone else.

This girls actions are confusing...

We have been together several months and here lately we have been argueing more and more. Now, after we argue it doesn't take long for me to get over it, but she seems to be taking it really hard.

Anyway, we had an arguement today and it wasn't that big of an arguement, but it's like the straw that broke the camels back for her. So, she told me she needed to take a break for a couple of days to clear her head but that she loves me and is certain she is coming back to me.

Now, I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a guy, but I don't understand it and even though I am ok with her doing this, I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. I mean, I'm wondering if this is a normal thing or if I should worry that either she is leaving me or maybe even cheating on me?

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Also, this did just happen about an hour ago and I am heart-broken, so please be nice with your comments.

My partner and I have been together 8 plus years and I know he loves me,as I do him.We seem to be spending less and less time together and I miss that time...I talk to him about it and he agrees and says we will start getting back to us but seems to be just talk and no action!I really miss him always talking to me and it's not like he's giving his time to others...We're in a routine and I guess that just happens after being together for so long,I just don't want it to get any worse!How do i get him to understand how much I miss all our time together and want it back?Should I be worried that his feelings for me aren't like they were before?

I am very worried about this. Me and my boyfriend are Christians and we dont believe in sex before marriage. I am afraid what he is doing is wrong but I may be parinoid. I am afraid were doing something wrong. He touches them through my clothes I like when he does it but im worried. I dont want no sexual intercourse until Im married. Met a man at a museum social function. We talked...he asked me out...I accepted...we went out on a nice date...talked on the phone the following week...During that week he expresses..."I'm falling in love with you". WHOA ! A bit much to be hearing in first week of knowing someone. I asked how he can express something without knowing me more in depth...his reply was "I just sense something about you and feel I do know you" He seems nice enough..Yet, the way he expressed so soon...it makes me uncomfortable.

Anyway...story, story, story. My question is have you experienced this happening? Why would a guy verbalize such a feeling as precious as love just within first week? If you have experienced this...what was the follow up experience and what was the guy discovered to be like (whether you continued seeing him or not).

And, oddly enough, I've experienced this a few times in last two yrs. of simularly expressed in first dates or first several weeks. Whats up with these men?
