Singles & Dating - 20 March 2007

I have been dating a man for about 5 months now.. he is attentive, handsome, hard working , he is a man born in Mexico City but has been in the US since he was a teen he appears to be acculterated. I am starting to get frustrated with his jelous behavior claiming " I can not handle your past" I was married twice.. once very young at 19 and the second time at 30 both were bad decisions I thought I should be honest to tell him and now he does not let it go? Can you men out there help me how can I work with this.. I am 40 he is 46, I am outgoing , friendly and independant.. he says he loves me but every other day he mentions that he feels sick when he thinks about "my past" no matter what I do to try to make him feel secure.. he is just obsessed with that.. help! What should I do???

Ok, so I am starting to crush on a friend of mine, and when everybody asks if we like each other, we deny it, but he keeps bringing it up. Like he'll say "I still think it's weird how they keep asking us." OH and today we were in the lunch line and he kept eyeing me up and down. (So I've heard from a reliable source.) i ve noticed that Most of the white guys i ve met prefer African to African American girls. I'm wondering why this is the case.I now realize that it's not the black thing but i don't understand. I ve African friends that i hung out with, all the african girls i know & i ve met are dating & some married to successful white American men.I don't mean to sound like a B but i'm beautiful & lighter in complexion than all my african friends. I do understand that African girls are good, thats why i prefer than as my friends but my do white guys always leave me out. whenever we go out as a group of friends, the white guys after talking to us will always ask for phone numbers of the african girls & leave us the african american girls out. I hear a lot of Italian men like Black women. I'm half Italian (and half German) and I admit that I love my girlfriend, not because she's black, but because she is the most beautiful and intelligent woman in the world to me.

I hear that they like them because of there skin tones, lips, and naturally curvy figures. My question is, is this really true? If it is, what do you (or they) like? If not, why not? Is it for a stupid reason like color alone or is it for a solid reason?

oki so every guy i talk to, always gets the idea that i like them and i had enough of that. i just found out today that my 3 guy friends think that i'am hot but easy to get (what in the world does that mean) i found this out because my friend over hearded thier conversation.
i asked my friend if it looked like i was flirting and she said that it did look like it but since she knows me, she knows that that's the way i just talk to guys, also that i'am really innocent and the guys just think that I'm pretending to be.

Are you always sure about it? There are many times when i doubt it. Is it normal? I mean, he's the guy i used to think as "the ideal guy" before i met him. But now i still doubt if i should stay with him... I guess it's just my character.

Alot of guys look at me, like onces i entered a store and there were 3 guys there and they all started looking when i entered and then one of the girls said "what happened, why did you stop?" and then she looked at me and was like ohh.. and then the guy was said to her "when you look like that, everybody looks at you..." and the girl said "yea lucky girl and started laughing. I don't know if they were talking about me or my mom who is 50 lol. But nobody ever asks me out i have never been asked out. Even though people tell me im really pretty why is this?
