I have been dating a man for about 5 months now.. he is attentive, handsome, hard working , he is a man born in Mexico City but has been in the US since he was a teen he appears to be acculterated. I am starting to get frustrated with his jelous behavior claiming " I can not handle your past" I was married twice.. once very young at 19 and the second time at 30 both were bad decisions I thought I should be honest to tell him and now he does not let it go? Can you men out there help me how can I work with this.. I am 40 he is 46, I am outgoing , friendly and independant.. he says he loves me but every other day he mentions that he feels sick when he thinks about "my past" no matter what I do to try to make him feel secure.. he is just obsessed with that.. help! What should I do???

He's obviously never going to accept your past...which isn't much of a past at all in this day and age. Move on, though it sounds like you may need to get a restraining order to do so.

Considering you're 40 what did he expect a untouched virgin? What you need to do it sit down with him and have a talk, tell him that you are tired of him bringing up the past, you're past is you're past and they're isn't nothing you can do about it. Tell him those guys didn't care about you, but he does and hes very important/ you love him very much. He shouldn't keep bringing up something. If he cant get over it then maybe the relationship isn't meant to be. But good luck !

This is not a situation that will change. Let him go - he needs to find a woman with either no past or that will lie to him. It's funny, bet he's not a virgin but he expects you to not have a life. You would not be as much fun if you didn't have a past. Tell him shush, the subject is not to be talked about again - or he can go away and find that other lady. Good luck to you!

when he says that kind of thing to you..you need to tell him that the past should not matter because you want to spend your future with him...he needs to understand that whats in the past you want to leave in the past and move on..and by him bringing it up, he is making it harder to move on in life.....

good luck...

Just make a "good" decision once and dump the guy.
