I've been single myself for 24 years now and learned something from a friend; he told me this little story that made me start to think..


There was a king that had two servants that he wanted to give $3 to each. The first servent took the $3 and invested in something and found a way to make it into $9 and multiply it somehow. The second servent took that $3 and barried it and sat on it and prayed and hoped that it would multiply on its own.

What i understood from this story is, I myself have been shy , unconfident of myself both personally and around others. and all i did was prayed, hoped, asked others how they were doing it but never did i show action. I mean i tried for a few days then said to myself that im not like that and i cant do it.

This story opened up my mind and made me think, I cant be like this forever, i have been sitting on myself thinking that im unconfident and im not good enough and i have to trow myself in and gamble with my self untill I make it.

I have only been married a few months and he called and told me that he did not care if I was married that he wanted to see me. He said for years my mother would not tell him how to get in touch with me and then all of a sudden she gave him my number and so he is calling me. He said that he has always loved me. I told him not to call me that I was married now. Did I do the right thing? I have feelings for him. What kind of guy would call now?

I dated this guy for a little while when we were in middle school, and then he moved away. Obviously it wasnt very serious but now, 8 years later, he got back in touch with me. He lives on a base in PA and we talk online every day and on the phone, and i think i'm really falling for him...but...he is a marine and is getting deployed to iraq in 10 days. Hes the greatest guy i've met in a long long time...and i really want to wait for him...i think he's worth it. but he says i need to find someone that can be better for me, hes afraid he'll come home and have changed too much. i really don't know what to do...can anyone please give me some words of wisdom?

Getting right 2 it. My ex g/f is like very upset with her self right now I dunno why tho. she thinks shes ugly and shes not I keep telling her that and she keeps saying no. Ok so i really like this guy but he is 3 years older than me. And usually, whenever i like a guy, i end up somehow being a ***** to him and being rude because he liked someone else[he told me that he was having girl problems because he told me he was sad because he had a chance to ask out a girl but she doesnt like him anymore and i dont know if it was me or not]. Thats what happened last time. I told him that i liked him over AIM but he is talking to me as if i never told him that i liked him. What should i do? i really like him and its not that easy to get over a guy like him. Friendly advice please.

I've known these two girls that I'm friends with for a while now and we have hung out a lot these past few weeks, and I really like this girl but she dosen't seem to like me like that which is fine because we are still friends but is the reason why girls don't like me more than a friend because I'm too nice to them? I'm always available when they need a ride or just want to hang out because I like hanging out with them, I always pay for them which they sometimes offer to pay so they aren't using me. I've always been nice to girls, but sometimes I feel as though I'm being a pushover. My dad thinks I need to not be so interested in them, and just play it cool. But I don't want to reject hanging out with them especially if I don't have anything to do during that time. I always treat these girls like princesses. I drive a nice car (lexus) I'm decent looking, I'm tall, I'm probably one of the nicest people especially to girls, I have a good sense of humor, I am shy which is a drawback. thx

We have been together for 3.5 years. Its been a hell of a rollercoaster ride, but its all worth it. I love him with all my heart, but i seem to be always starting dramas with no intend. Our last arguement, i had promise to be more careful with my action and I was skating on thin ice. Recently we got into another fight, pity drama. And now he wont forgive me. He broke up with me. I was mad at him, so i didnt acknowledge him when I came home, he started saying I'm being disrespectful. That was not my intend. How do i get him to forgive me, even though i had promise that was the last straw? I know i shouldnt have promise something I cant keep. So how do I get him to take me back?

Okay I like this shy guy and he is only in one of my classes and I never spoke to him before but i've seen him before he seems to be staring alot but i don't know if that means anything one time he was staring at me for a long time when i was laughing with my friends. Today when I saw him going to track he was so hot i blushed and walked backwards.. and also the other day i smiled at him in choir class because of something he said.. but i turned away really quick because i thought it would give a bad reaction... my friends are planning to ask him out for me tomorrow is this a good thing or a bad thing? OKey, here's the deal! I like this guy in my school. He is not really a hotty, but I like him, he seems nice, sweet carring, and really really nice once again! he always makes me laugh, I mean he makes everyone laugh every move he makes is cute. Sometime I do talk to him only during classes. But he doesnt really talk to me like about what did you do this weekend stuff like that. but im to scared to talk to the kid if he calls me a freak tht would be bad, and I dont know how to act up with guys :~(
