Okay I like this shy guy and he is only in one of my classes and I never spoke to him before but i've seen him before he seems to be staring alot but i don't know if that means anything one time he was staring at me for a long time when i was laughing with my friends. Today when I saw him going to track he was so hot i blushed and walked backwards.. and also the other day i smiled at him in choir class because of something he said.. but i turned away really quick because i thought it would give a bad reaction... my friends are planning to ask him out for me tomorrow is this a good thing or a bad thing? If it's a bad thing can you explain what I should do first besides going up to him and saying hi?

Having your friends do it for you is kinda tacky. If you really want to have something happen you just have to give him a chance to make the move, and show him that you're interested. You can show him that you notice him by making good eye contact. Just like he's been staring at you, stare back. Not in a creepy way. Just make eye contact and smile. That will help him know that you notice him, and will help him get more confidence to talk to you.
Say hello as much as possible as you see him. smile or even wave. If he knows that you pay attention to him, if he's interested like he seems to be he'll make the move.

It sounds to me like you wouldn't have to work very hard to get him to ask you out. He's probably waiting for a sign that you would be receptive to an invite. Next time you find him starring at you, smile at him, wave and smile... whatever you do, acknowledge him if you like him. Give him a reason to think he stands a chance if he was to get brave enough to approach you.
He'll come around if you show him that you're not completely revolted by his presence.

you really should consider going up to him and saying hi, or just involve him in something your doing like joking around or whatever. the first thing my current wife ever said to me is do you like my butt. we were on the school bus 6 years ago and became friends and soon after more than friends.
Why are you afraid to say hi to him? You said he was the shy one?

Letting your friend do it for you is a BAD THING... your fiends are not gonna always be there...
since your shy it will be better if you catch him when he's alone. when you do already have your number written on a piece of paper, give it to him and ask him to call you tonight..

the guy feels the same way, probably makes himself more "in the picture" now that he knows u have interest. i say you date some nerd that u have no weird feeelings about, you'll find out this nerd is way hotter.

well dont have ur friends ask him out for you ... thats kinda pathetic... but talk to him more,.... im in the same situation but if u talk to him u can see how he kinda feels for you and if its good then ask him out... =)
