they like it at first, feeling they have the need to "win your heart" but after you start dating, they like to settle down and enjoy their time with you.

at first it's a little interesting but the problem is, some girls don't know when to quit playing. I know when a female seems too easy, it's a turn off. you know the kind I am talking about, that girl you know that seems like she is in heat and no one will touch her. if she learned to value her company a little better , she might be a little desirable. I don't think it's as much the playing hard to get as it adds mystery and it's like a treasure hunt, you follow all the little signals until you get to the treasure. it's no fun when someone keeps relocating the treasure or the treasure is sitting right in front of you with a big sign that says treasure. it is more about being a mystery than playing games. there is a difference.

I'm going to say no. The guys that like 'hard to get' girls are players; once they get you they'll move on. Nice guys, or guys looking for a relationship, appreciate the direct approach. No funny business. :-)

ooh...i've asked one of my guy friend about this. he said he prefer that the girl to refuse to date him the first time or two he ask her to but still receive his phone call and talk for hours. the third time he ask her to go out, she ask for some time to think it through and call him at the last minute to tell him she accept the invitation. (thats what was his girlfriend did - show him she is in control but still show some response to him. she gives the impression that she's interested but cautious and she dont come out like she was desperate for male company)
