LoL...hormones!...jk...im sorry, that was stupid, huh?hmmm, i believe people love because it was the way God made us. Also, we want to hang out with someone funny, kind, and caring because we enjoy it. We enjoy treating each other specially and commenting each other. We enjoy having another persons company and having just a special little bond. All this stuff sounds like you can do it all with friends but its not the same. When your with your friends you can do anything you want execpt gaze into each others eyes, hold hands, let your true thoughts and feelings out, sit and silence and think (about each other of course) and get nervous about a lil fone call from a special someone. loL...most importantly, it feels good to be loved back. To love on another and have someone love you is a Truly Awesome feeling. The world and everything on it was made it love, give love, recieve love, and even make love...yuck! lol...altho, for lots of younger people, i think love is too big of a word. welp, hope i have answered your ques...:P

Lots of reasons...but for one thing, it's part of human nature to want to be loved. It's a good feeling when someone likes you, whether it's a friend or a significant other. It gives you a good feeling about yourself when someone likes you and wants to spend time with you. If someone loves you, that good feeling gets magnified big time. Basically, I think people love because of all the wonderful feelings it produces.
Or you could argue that people love for biological reasons. It's part of nature to find a mate and reproduce. Human's are no different, but the unexplainable difference between humans and other species is that we feel something when we love...happiness, passion, etc...Dang, your right this is a tough question!

It is a deep emotional need to be a emotionally connected to another person. People are usually so critical of each other and it is nice to have a person that sees past your faults. Also it is an indescribable feeling to love someone else. Somehow being in love makes me feel like my mission in life is too make sure that other person is kept happy.

They want to have that feeling that are apreciated in life, and that someone outside of their family does care for them and that if someting happens to them, they'll have someone to confide to about their troubles. Someone who'll have their trust ad respect through the good and bad times.

i think its in peoples blood. Most have a desire to share their lives with someone else. Everybody just wants to be cared about and loved by another.
