Does anyone else think is sounds respectful when people say the following to instead of sex or making love:
"I hit that"
"we went at it"
"I banged that"
"i f**ked him/her"
"I got some from him/her"

What do you think?

My dad feels very lonely. I am 24 and I have trouble answering my dad when he asks me this:

How come you never come visit me? What did I do wrong to have my children shut me out?

I live 100 miles away from him. I am a student and a single father myself. I try to keep in touch. I want to make him feel like he is important to me. I want him to feel like he has been the good father he is. I have told him this. I have called him every couple of weeks. Is there more that I can do? Please help me on this one. I have run out of ideas. I really do care and need to resolve this for him and myself.

i started dating a woman 2 yrs ago - had a great start with a lot of passion and sex. after 1 year, she accepted my ring too. problem is after that she started cooling off. we still hangout and do activities together, but i can feel that she has a wall up. sex has become rare and i now have to watch what i say to her.

i did push her into asking why she is doing what she is doing. she tells me she wants to take it slow. plus, she does not want to go through the bad breakups she had through her previous relationships.

could anyone throw light on what is probably going on.. why is she doing this?

Ok in the other question a gurl/ young woman was venting about how a boy asked her on a date or something to which she said no & yet he continued to ask & even to a point bug her about going out. My question is if women seem to often answer guys that ask them out that they dont like or feel the same for what should a guy do when they don't say anything & especially when they always claim they will be honest to the guy & send mix signals leading the guy to believe it was ok or the right time to try to take it to the next level. Obviously the guy should move on but I mean if a woman is in that situation even if she doesnt feel the same. Even if she wasnt want to be friends with the person anymore isn't better to just deal with it & answer instead of bailing or avoiding it especially though if you do want to try to be friends?

There was that man who I met through work. He was dumped by some hot blond. We had to have dinner together (because of work), and he went on how he was hurt and so on. I nodded and said things like "yes, oh, how awful". Then he asked: "But I am a good guy, good looking and nice?" I said "Sure you are, and you will find a woman one day who will make you happy." (I did not think him either)
Then we go back and it was evening, and dark (winter), and he jumped on me and tried to get me inside his place by force! He said later on that I "flirted" with him!
And there are so many others like this. You are just friendly with
them, indeed, but I never get personal, so why can't they understand that you may say nice things to them to cheer them up or what not, and it means just friendliness and nothing more.
Is it possible at all to be friendly to them without them assuming
impossible things?

We both like each other, shes given me all the hints, but im too stupid to ask her out, but im now to a point where im going to do it, but i want to do it in a special way to at least let her know i care for her. The thing is ,shes always stressed from study, and is always telling me this too, so i was thinking of getting her something to remind her to stop stressing out, like a cool gift she can look back at?.....need ideas. Its gone out of control, as i think she thinks i dont like her back, cause ive never really showed her any signs, apart from being around her, and shes always giving me hints....what should i do, she started asking me bout whether she should get back with her ex or not, and other stuff as well....but she flirts with me heaps.....i need to do something to show i like her though, it looks as though she thinks im not into her, which is totally the opposite, whats a good gift to get for a stressed girl?

Hey. How are you? Ever since we stopped talking, I had been going over everything in my head, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. You know, I still remember what you said to me the last time we talked, the things you were mad at me about. I remember the first thing you said was that I harassed you. It's kind of funny really, that was the last thing I ever wanted to do to you but I guess I did anyway. If you said that because I called you every weeknight, it as only because when we were at school we'd only talk for two minutes. I never really got to talk to you when it'd be just me and you. Even when I called, someone else would always called. And then, I had a sort of "calling plan" you see, I would call you at 9 and if you didn't answer, I'd wait 1 hour and try again, and if you didn't answer I'd just talk to you the next day because I didn't want to bother you. I was always afraid that I was doing something wrong to make you not like me.

I met a girl at a friends wedding about a month ago - she seemed really positive and fun and we talked a bit (mostly about her) and i notice she kept sitting next to me, coming outside when I was..etc

she crossed my mind a few times since then so I got her number from my friends new wife, and gave her a call. She was driving at the time so I told her I'd call her back in 15 but she didn't answer. i text her to say i don't understand what i said in the matter of minutes to make her ignore me and that i would take it as if she is having a bad day... she text me back to let me know she was having a bad day and that she would be free the next day should i wish to call. i was busy all week so i called her at the end of the week but no answer. she text me a few days later saying she was having it hard and busy with work, but saying i should call her sometime during the day. considering the trends so far i am no fool - she will not answer.

whats the deal with her?

Does he want me??? That way?
My crush and I were in my room using the computer.
He asked if the cat always sleeps on my bed.
I said yes.
He said something like he couldn't sleep with a cat
or there would be no where for him or something.
I said "Are you in my bed?"
He said "No, I'm just saying if I was..."

Does his statement mean he wants in my bed?

Hi all,

Help! I am in a date. Being a nerdy engineer, my brain is swamped by numbers and computer stuff. My readings include those very manly topics such as finance, business, war and politics, as well as computers and maths. This creates a huge problem when I hang out with girls. I was both nervous and nerdy and the girls don't find me interesting. How can I make my mindset more socializing and how can I make myself more interesting in front of the girls? What shall I read in leisure time? I really want to be able to carry out fun conversations... Thanks a lot!
