I prefer to marry a woman who has good values, similar interests, a pretty face, and who loves me. Whether or not she is a virgin or not is irrelevant, though an over-active sexual history is not generally a good sign of someone who truly wants a commitment. It depends on the woman, though. No one is really in the position to be judging people's past. All I care about is how my woman is right now.

Besides, even if a man finds a virgin (good luck with that), what are the odds she'll still be one when they get married? Not very many couples are going to make it that long. For the ones that do, good for them! I hope it turns out you're sexually compatible! Other than that, virginity guarantees protection from diseases. But only if the GUY is a virgin, too. So would you marry a guy who wasn't a virgin? Good luck finding one!

This is a great question. It all depends on the guy, really.

Marrying a virgin means that you, the guy, are the first person who will bring her into womanhood. Most women never forget the guy that they had sex with first. Am I right?

However, marriage should be based off of true love and trust between a man and woman. If you really love her, it doesn't matter if she was or is a Porn Star. You love her and she loves you !!!

Women will never have trouble finding a guy to have sex with them; however, guys do have trouble finding women to have sex with them (Hmmmmm).

If you truly love, trust, and respect each other, then it doesn't matter if you are a virgin or not.

Some cultures and/or religions require that the man marry a virgin. This, I'm afraid will have to be dealt with by the couple and the religious authority.

Hope this helps.

Well my wife wasn't a virg but I was only the second guy she slept with. And now, sex isn't in the vocabulary because she doesn't, and I think didn't really ever have the interest.

So if you have a 'strong' drive, sure stay a virgin. If not , get it working by strenghtening your desire. People drift apart if the relationship turns cold, and I'm not just talking about sex. So for me I would prefer a moderately experienced woman, who I know had hormones, rather than a virgin. That's just based on what I knew about her.

Both. I would like to marry a woman who has the experience of a girl who's "been around the block", however I would like for to have the physical well-being of a virgin.

I think most women miss the point of the whole 'virgin' vs 'experienced' question. It isn't a matter of her physical virginity. When a woman has a child, she knows it's hers. When a man becomes a father, he only knows as much as he trusts his wife. What's important is how the woman makes a man feel safe, in the knowledge that the child is his.

I would prefer a virgin. Why? good question. Aside from societal's view of getting someone who's untainted, I would like to share in her life. Having sex for the first time is pretty major, important event in anyone's life and I would feel a deeper connection by it. You could only lose your virginity once you see, so choose the person wisely.

I am tempted to say, 50-50?

Like virgin *** but experienced in the normal way?

You have to make compromises in marriage, don't you?

OK- That was the most outragious answer I ever gave. On a less lighter note , I would marry a woman I love. Her being a virgin won't deter me.

I am answering this even though its addressed to all the guys......

I loved it that my husband waited for his first time with me. Sometimes I feel like I have let him down in that area because I was previously married and have two children from that. I wish I could take back life and do it over, but I also love and cherish my children.

My husband has taken them in like they were his own, and for that I am so grateful. My ex-virgin husband has been so great and I wish more people would save that intimacy for the ones they love and want to be with forever. It has been such a great inspiration to me as I feel I can trust men again after being cheated on in previous marraige.

never have known a virgin although i hear they take a lot of patience and i would like to find out. Alas, at my age this is probably out of the question unless I hit the lottery. Either way it's a gamble for most and the divorce rate is close to 50 50
regardless of whether they are experienced or virgin as far as I have knowledge of ....,correct me if i'm wrong on this one.
