Singles & Dating - 10 March 2007

It seems like there is so much pressure to get one. Every guy seems to have one. I would only get one to try to make myself fit in. I wouldn't do anything for that girl, as I probably wouldn't like her. The problem is that I'm not interested at all in actually being in love with someone. I view it as uneccessary and something I don't need. Sure, I have been attracted to girls, but it was more of a sexual attraction than an interest in actually falling in love with that person. I'm not the type of guy who likes showing his emotions and I would be very embarassed doing something like getting flowers for a girl or anything like that. I could not even tell my parents I love them, as I would be embarassed to. They have done nothing bad to me, but I think I am incapable of love. I swear I could never do something like that.

I recently decided to move out of state, just been very unhappy with my current living situation. The girl i am in love with loves me back, but just as a friend. I think very small part reason im moving is to get over her and move along, but by no means is the whole reason. When i told her she got so mad, she yelled at how stupid and fast my decision is, started to cry, and slammed door in my face.. Does it sound like she may feel the same way about me or just a typical response? Its been a huge cat and mouse game for a year now and really been messin with my head.. and my heart. Should i just fold my cards now? i just hate leaving on such a bad note..

We've been together since high school, and everything was great/ Her family likes me, my family likes her, we have mutual friends. We love each other a lot and we've lately been talking about engagement.
Everything was going just fine until last month when she started avoiding me and acting not as herself. She was cold and seemed more distant. She almost stopped calling me and I've noticed that something isn't right. We talked and she told me about this guy at work who she's fallen in love with. She says that she still loves me, but she wants to take a "break" from me to "figure things out". I am really scared that if I accept to this I won't get her back. On the other hand, this situation cannot go on. I can't be with her like this. In addition she wants to know will I accept her back if she "decides" that she really loves me.
I don't know what to do, since this is my first serious relationship.... Please help....

my bf is 14 & plays tennis well.
Yesterday, when i was over, he and his parents invited me to go 2 his tournament 2day.
They said they would pick me up @ 7:30..............it's 7:58!!!!!!!
Did I indicate this all wrong? Was my mom supposed to drive me??
That makes no sense b/c I have no idea where it is!!!

i lost my first time to my ex bf at 19 after only dating him for a couple of months...
i thought i loved him...and he loved me...
but after i had sex with him...it became wat we do when we r alone...and after a while...the relationship just ended becoz he cheated on me
i felt so betrayed as i have lost everything to him...and tilll this day i still regret not have waited to have sex
I've finally gotten into another relationship, i wanna love again like i have neva been hurt...
but part of me just can't trust anymore...fearing of being betrayed and hurt...now i just want to wait and not have sex until after marriage or would thinkin like this drive my bf away?

I've been talking to this guy named Matt since like June. In January, he asked me out and I accepted. The night before our planned date, he called and told me that He had met someone else and cancelled our date.
Well, He's been texting again. He wants to get together sometime, but I'm just not sure if I should give him another chance or not.
He said that he'd call me on Thursday night at 9 and didn't...he apologized (in a text) and said that he'd call at 10:30 and didn't. Well, my friend took my phone and sent him a text telling him that he's pathetic for messing with me if he's not going to do what he says he will. He called 3 times last night but never left a voice mail.
Do you think he deserves another chance? Should I go ahead and start dating him?

I'm all for feminism provided the premise is that women are the intellectual equal of men. I believe that women are as intelligent as men, and should always be treated as such. There are smart women and smart men, dumb women and dumb men.

However, when a feminist says that women are physically equal to men I can't help but laugh, because it is total nonsense. When a feminist says something like that how can anyone take them seriously? We all know that if 1000 men and 1000 women were stranded on an island and were forced to fight with eachother, we all know that men would win easily. If we wanted to we could make all the women our slaves, so how does that make women the phyiscal equal of men?

If feminists accept that men are physically superior to women, then I will start taking them seriously.

Alright...well Im In love with this girl and where going out. Her x boyfriend wants to beat me up because he thinks while they were going out she cheated on him. When she really didint. And im becomeing paranoid,scared,worried and a bunch of other stuff. She is also going to get hurt in the process from what i hear.
