Singles & Dating - 10 March 2007

I am so frickin in love and everything is fine w/ me and my boyfriend. He is very very very good to me, but lately we've been getting into small arguements over nothing and that has caused us to begin a habit of saying mean things to each other out of anger lately. This is rarely a problem, and we've surpassed things much bigger than this, but the only reason that worry is because this is the first time in our year 1/2 relationship were i could actually c us taking some time apart, or even breaking up for a little while. I met him my freshman year of college (i'm a junior) and I sometimes I want to enjoy college w/o him (but i love being w/ him)...just sometimes want to not have to worry about what he would think....we spend almost every moment together and i think that being too dependent might hurt us in the future...but he likes the dependency...I'm still stuck..any advice?

I had a 1st date with a guy tonight and it lead to heavy petting. I hope he doesn't think poorly of me because of that but a gal has needs too sometimes. We said good night and he said he would call me tomorrow

Anywho, my question is this: Since I can't get him off my mind should I send him a text message on his phone saying that I had a nice time and can't wait to see him again or should I just play the cat and mouse game waiting for him to call so I can make sure he is really into this?

My bf and I have been dating for about 5 months to date. We're both really busy and hardly see each other but we're in love and pretty much live with one another. I realized lately we hardly go out and do things together. Maybe it is just because its winter? I never see him during the day, and if i do its watching tv. We've gone out to dinner and such recently but I wish we'd go out more but CAN'T! Help me, he just sent me a text asking if i was getting bored with the relationship so obviously its showing a bit. How do I respond and tell him I miss him.

Me and my b/f have been together for like 2.5 years and all we seem to do is argue he has a really bad temper.Do you agree that i was wrong to allow one of our mutual guy friends-whom i met through him over to visit for like 10 min while my b/f was not here?He got so mad and said no -one is allowed over when he isn't home even if i have a girlfriend over she isn't allowed to bring her boyfreind unless he's here.I tottally diagree and need some opinions on this.Also i mentioned to my b/f that when we can manage it we should consider getting a credit card for emergencies only and he said that he would never let me get a credit card cuz he just assumes i would rack it up. Before he came along i was pretty responsible and made my own money - all that so is he right or is he controlling me?I just feel like he doesn't really understand me like i am stupid.But he doesn't even have his grade 12 i graduated with honours and he acts like i don't know stuff and he's always right!EErrr what to do?

I've gotten to hang out with this girl for sometime now and we've become pretty good friends, such as daily chatting, or texting. Anyways, she always brings up a situation where guys (many of them recently) confesses they likes her and she alway tells me she blows them off. She even goes as far as pasting her conversations in a chatbox for me to read. She has claimed that i am like a best friend to her and that she is my personal stalker. Why is she doing this?

She has on the other hand invited me to dinner and a movie. She has also rated me a 9 from a scale of 1-10 in hotness. In addition when i jokingly mentioned i would stretch my arms in theatres to make a move, she insited she wanted to see it.

I started a long distance relationship a few months ago and was wondering how these types of relationships start and progress in the best case scenarios. How often should we visit and talk on the phone. When should we become exclusive/commit etc. I ask because it is so different from dating someone nearby that you can see every weekend and let the relationship progress as you see each other each week. Any experiences or suggestions?

ok, here's the scenario. I REALLY like the guy who is four years older then me (which is a lot cause im 14) and even though I know he will never like me I still wish he would care about me at least as friend, (btw I have been feeling this way about him for 1 1/2 years). I went away to boardig school four months ago and I just came back because it didnt work out. I missed him a HUGE amount when I was gone and today came back to my theatre group to try out for a show, and he was there. he seemed happy to see me (he got the hottest haircut!!) and he actually noticed that I cut my hair differently from the last time I saw him. does this mean he kind of cares and notices me? I mean someone who sees you as dirt on the ground wouldnt notice that you got your hair cut after not seeing them for 4 months. what do you guys think?
