Marriage proposal you have ever heard?My bf of almost 4 yrs decided to bring up the subject of marriage in the middle of a movie?He asked me to marry him during the movie 300!Granted i like violent movies but why could he not wait till after the movie?

The exact proposal was i love and since you put up with all my bull **** and i put up with yours i want to spend the rest of my life with you!How was that supposed to be romantic!P.S he is a great guy in every other way for the most part and i love him.But what on earth was that?!

If you truly, truly loved this guy you would have been delighted if he had asked you while going potty. The truth of the situation is maybe you just like the idea of the pomp and circumstance involved with marriage and dont understand the full committment involved. Take a step back, read your question again and see if you see what I see. Real love would think any proprosal was fabulous -- hmmmmmmmm good luck -k-

This is the eternal fantasy of a man feeling set upon. If you're gonna face terror, make it count for ages. 300 Spartans against an entire 400,000 man army, and they do win. Well sort of.
It fills him up with ambitions to face the terror in his heart and ... wha? Pop the question? Like I said, gotta love the guy.

Yea, for your consideration he should of waited until he took you out to dinner after the movie. Maybe the movie made him feel manly. I am trying to make sense of his proposal in the middle of the movie.

when guys are thinking of proposing they become TOTALLY TERRIFIED! its really stupid but you are lucky he could even get it out. for example: my mom and dad were sitting on the couch and my dad was so scared that he just handed her the ring and said "here". NEVER judge the way he feels about you by a proposal, cause the fact that he wants to marry you shows it enough. dont worry, when he gets less nervous he'll get a little sappy. eventually

that ones pretty rough but hey at least he asked if hes never been romantic before then let it slide if he has tell him to try it again...........my husband botched his first i love you by getting up after sex and telling me "i love you im going to go outside and smoke a cigarette" if you love them you let them know it wasnt what you had dreamed of but youll take it
