Me and my b/f have been together for like 2.5 years and all we seem to do is argue he has a really bad temper.Do you agree that i was wrong to allow one of our mutual guy friends-whom i met through him over to visit for like 10 min while my b/f was not here?He got so mad and said no -one is allowed over when he isn't home even if i have a girlfriend over she isn't allowed to bring her boyfreind unless he's here.I tottally diagree and need some opinions on this. Also i mentioned to my b/f that when we can manage it we should consider getting a credit card for emergencies only and he said that he would never let me get a credit card cuz he just assumes i would rack it up. Before he came along i was pretty responsible and made my own money - all that so is he right or is he controlling me?I just feel like he doesn't really understand me like i am stupid. But he doesn't even have his grade 12 i graduated with honours and he acts like i don't know stuff and he's always right!EErrr what to do?

first off, he was smart about the credit card. and it seems he is a very jealous guy, have you given him any reasons to be?? but, i see where he's coming from i wouldn't want another man at my girl's house while i'm not there. talk to him and tell him now you feel.. it appears that your not that happy and he is controlling you. sit and think about it, is this something you can continue to deal with? maybe you and him need a break from each other to re-evalute the relationship and where its going and things that need improvement if you and him plan on being together for another 2 and a half years.

Well, if you have that much negative stuff to say about him, maybe you should try to think of some of the positive stuff. I totally understand, though. I am in a situation that is pretty close, and I told my boyfriend that if he didnt stop being a ***** I was going to dump him. The though of breaking up forced him to really think about how he acted and he changed. But if he hadn't I would have ended it.

It sounds like you could do a heck of a lot better.

Girlfriend you need to get rid of this dude. You will never be happy he is to controlling and it is only gonna get worse. As time goes by and he gets more attached to you it will get worse. As will his jealousy. Before long he will want to know EVERYTHING you do.How long at the grocery store..who did you talk to and on and on. I know you don't believe me but I have been there and done that. And then when you do leave him he will stalk and harass you.Try and lose him now before it gets worse. You sound like a smart chick..you can make it on your own.

He's trying to control you. If I were you, I would get out of the relationship. Or, try to explain that you own your life, not him. Of course, if he's willing to control you over these stupid things, he might get a bit abusive...I personally would just break up with him because he's controling your life. And you're letting him. But if you seriously like this guy, or are in love or whatever, try and work it out. Try and get him to understand that he can't control you the way he is. He's wrong, not you.

He is controlling and way beneath you. The best thing to do is to take all your stuff and get out of there, the sooner the better. Stay with him and things will get worse. He acts like he owns you and you are his personal property. Sooner or later it will turn into physical violence so the sooner you get away from him the better.

It's time to tell that bf of yours bye-bye. He is controlling. And jealous. He wuldn't be so angry about having someone over without him being there if he weren't so insecure about himself. Please, get away from him. Has he hit you yet? Or is he just at the put you down stage? Making you feel like you are spoosedly incapable of anything other than what he expects of you? Please,, do yourself a HUGE favor-get away from him ASAP if not sooner! Take care.

get a better man.....you might beat you later on..are you willing to wait for his fist or slap on your face...that attitude is a sign of trouble later...that is not true love..it is great for the guy to show his protection to you...but,seems you can't move a step without his acknowledgement...but,there is one thing i agree with him..you invited a mutual guy over..regardless he also knows the guy..but,your alone with your mutual guy friend..you never know your mutual guy friend will do bad to you...hmmmm i was thinking try first explaining to your man about how you feel badly about his ways towards you..ask him to lower his guard a little bit..not to be too protective..don't raise your voice too high keep your tone in a normal sound as you explain about his attitude..if,he does'nt listen..so then,he is just ending a good lady in his life...give it a try...ok good luck smile :-)
