Hello, I just want to say, that we broke up in Nov. and were going out in Oct. of 2006. Some days, he's nice, and he talks to me and stuff, and other days, its like his personality gets completly turned around, and he acts like a jerk. I wish we could still be friends, and I've tried talking this over with him, and he says,"Yeah, sure we can still be friends." And then 2 days later, we are back in an arguement over the smallest things. What should I do to resolve this problem, because sometimes, I ask if we can be friends still and he gets upset some days and says,"no", and on others, he says,"Yeah, lets just be friends."

when we were on the first multi player computer game, i was always introduced as her partner, or referred to as my partner. We are on a second game now and she is refering to me as her girlfriend. To me the girlfriend tag refers to a casual relationship while the partner tag refers to a committed loving relationship. She said that to her they mean the same thing, but I told her they do not mean the same thing to other people, especially people who do not know us. She has also used the girlfriend tag in the real world. Please let me know what you think about this.

I met an awesome guy recently. We have mutual friends. He is recently divorced (his wife left him). I know that he is interested in me, I can see it all over his face. He seems reluctant for some reason (possibly not wanting to get rejected again). Is there a certain way to let him know that it is okay to talk to me? He hasn't even asked for my number. How do you deal with a man that is newly divorced and looking to be back on the 'singles scene'?

We have been dating 3 months. We talk on the phone all the time and we have a great time together. But for some reason he has not made any attempt to even kiss me or hold my hand....nothing. I can't understand what is going on and I have never had this problem. He seems to be into me but nothing happens. i need help because i don't know if i want to brake up with my boyfriend because i love him with all me heart but i can't ever see him because hes 18 and i am not trying to act like his mother or trying to tell him how to live his life its just that i know i am hyurting him by not able to see him and i have too many problems i don't want him to worry about me and i am not taking my anger out on him either its just that i is so hard because my mom is abusing me my school work isn't getting done because my mom is always telling me to do chores and i can't make time to call him all the time. and i love him so so so much i really do we think we are ment to be toghether because everything we like are the same everything. but yeah what should i do........ i really love him more then anything in the whole world and when ever i think about braking up with him it feels like a part of me is dieing and i want him to be with some one who can be there with him because i can't what should i do?!

Ok heres the story. I went to his house and he went in his room and we just talked but I knew he just wanted to have sex with me. I have a little crush on him. I only kissed him. Every time my wife and I go out dancing, I have young women hit on me, flirt with me and want to dance with me. I am 6' 4" 235 lbs and am fitter than most 25 year old men. Okay, im 15 years old going on 16 on april 10th. I met this guy in 7th grade (now im in 10th) and we were friends. In 8th grade he asked me out and I said YES! He is my 1st boyfriend. On april 11th is going to be our 2 yr anniversary. We see eachother EVERYDAY and talk on the phone. My girlfriend and I were getting closer than ever before and then she got sick. She has been at home for the last 2 days. I would talk to her on the phone for hours and text her to see how she was doing. Last night she called me but I left my phone in the other room. When I called her back, she said that her ex-boyfriend called her to see how she was feeling and he brought her some things from the store. She thinks he cares about her more than I do because of this. She said that I should have called her like he did to check on her but I was busy at the time. I told her that if he cares more than she should go back to him but she said she does not want him. I know what I want to do about this but I wanted to hear some other opinions.

How do you know if he is the one?
I am very close friends with this guy and I get this feeling that he might be the one for me. I'm not looking for a relationship with him nor do I want to date him. I just want us to be the best of friends. But then I made a little mistake and a I went a bit too far when I kept calling and asking him if he wants to get together. Perhaps I pressured him a bit too much about us wanting to be together. I know it's my fault but I just want to let him know that I want him as a big brother and not a boyfriend. Still can our relationship go beyond friendship?

He was working away at the time and we were having problems...he did not forget, he said that because of the problems we were having it didnt seem right??? I've asked several questions in the past if "good guys" (of which I am one) get girls. I'm a 19 year old college student, never had a gf and get spurned by all the girls. All the answers I've gotten here from girls basically say that one day, those girls will come flocking to me when they realized that the bad boys abused them.

I find this incredibly insulting. It's saying that when those girls get thrown out by their "bad boy" boyfriend, they will come to us because they think we're available and desperate. In other words, we're their second choice since they couldn't stay with the bad boys they wanted. You know what? I WOULD RATHER NEVER GET MARRIED AND DIE A VIRGIN THAN LOWER MYSELF TO THAT LEVEL!!!!! This is the way the dating game in life works? I don't need this. I don't need to settle for second best. I'm going to focus on my friends and my education/career and live a happy life from that (like several of my family members ultimately did).
