My girlfriend and I were getting closer than ever before and then she got sick. She has been at home for the last 2 days. I would talk to her on the phone for hours and text her to see how she was doing. Last night she called me but I left my phone in the other room. When I called her back, she said that her ex-boyfriend called her to see how she was feeling and he brought her some things from the store. She thinks he cares about her more than I do because of this. She said that I should have called her like he did to check on her but I was busy at the time. I told her that if he cares more than she should go back to him but she said she does not want him. I know what I want to do about this but I wanted to hear some other opinions.

Why is her ex still calling and coming over? She is wrong for comparing you two first of all and she must realize that you have a life also. You seem like a great boyfriend if she is still to dumb to see that later on in your relationship and she continues to compare you to another man let her go and be with him or someone else.

Hey man, I think we've all had similar problems. I think that you should just stop by. She might not want to be all gushy though seeing as how she's sick. If I were you I'd pop in a blockbuster, make some popcorn and cuddle up with her. It sounds like that's the kind of thing she needs from you right now. She just wants to know that you care and wants you to be there for her whether she's ill or feeling great. Hope that helped some

Ok theres no way that she should think that he cares more after one mistake and you know what it isn't even a mistake it was an accident i dont know why shes getting so worked up and the way she kept referencing her ex says that maybe she does want to be with him. If you want to save this then show up at her house unexpected with some flowers and offer to make her some soup or spend the day with her on the couch all cuddle up and bundled up. If she doesnt accept that as an apology then shes not worth it.

I believe that`s she is in love with you
But perhaps because she needed you most at that time you weren`t here... not because you didn`t care but you couldn`t..
you know for a girl every single detail is important... that`s why she said all the things about her ex....
But she didnot mean it...it was only a way to make you take more care of her and be always here for her...
I believe that you should tell her that you really care for her..tell her what really happened...i`m sure if she loves you she will understand you dear...go on

Well... apologize first of all. I'm a girl and I feel that way at times. We need attention and get mad over little things at times. Go to her house... bring her some flowers or something thats small but means alot to her, you should know what she likes that touches her heart the best. Something sentimental. Then make her a nice dinner that wont make her anymore sick. she will LOVE that. cant cook? buy some food for her. something she loves to eat and tell her you love her and that you are sorry for not checking in.

Well, she is in a vulnerable state because she is sick...and she just wants you to be there for her most of all. I'm sure she doesnt mean that he cares more...shes just testing you and shes very emotional and sensitive...as most girls are, if not..all! But, she wants/needs your attention the most..you are her bf right? Now go take care of your sick girl! Try being sensitive to her feelings, especially when shes sick...girls need special attention sometimes!! Shes either woth it or shes not! Your call...

Sounds like emotional blackmail to me dude!
Tell her that you're not going to compete for her affection with cards and gifts.
She should be secure enough to know how you feel about her.
Sometimes when people are sick they want a lot of special attention. But if this is her normal modus operandi then you're going to be doing somersaults all the time trying to keep her feeling secure.

girls are very sensitive! You must give them extra attention, so if they are feeling sick or bad you must tend to their feeliongs and needs or they take it in a offensive way. Just explain to her that you are a guy and that being a guy it is your natural instinct to assume that everything will be ok, but that you wil work on showing your emotions more becuase u really do love and care about her!

babe dont let this go 2ur head..girls are so complicated adn sometimes can b a drama queen...but try to buy her some flowers and some I LOVE U CARD write down something nice for her to feel appreciated, maybe she is just really upset for bn sick and home for 2days without doing anything fun, so she is trying to get ur att. or maybe a lil argument so u can pay a lil more att.2 her. dont worry she knows that u care about her .
