how do i stop comparing myself to other girls? i just want to know how not to look at them and wish i were them. im tired of feeling like im not as pretty as other people. i just want to be happy with me. i know its stupid but it really hurts and sucks that i cant stop comparing myself to them. i feel ugly or not good enough when im around prettier girls.

I am a decent looking guy, athletic, etc... I do receive attention from the girls, but once I know the girl really likes me - I lose interest. Or I let it continue for a couple of weeks and then quit. The only women I really want are the ones that do not pay any attention to me... Ok wanna-be psychologists, what is going on here?

She is really glad that I email so much, but she only emails on occasion or when she has time. I really like her, and she knows this because I told her. We remained friends because we both thought this was best, but she asked the friendship to grow. I told her that I might consider asking her out if it grew, and she seemed ok with this. I flirt with her a lot, and we have some witty banter. Also, we stopped one dance and held hands while an instructor showed us what to do.

I am a fun person and I like laughing and having a good time. Most of the time I have a smile on my face. The thing is, I don't think my boyfriend likes this.

He tells me: Why do you laugh all the time? The fact that I start laughing after he says that doesn't help much...

I don't know if I am nervous around him (never was before) or if it is something else, but he thinks I am really unserious because I laugh and smile a lot after he says something. He asks me, What is so funny? and I just don't answer him.

What is wrong ith smiling? HELP, what should i do about this?

What I mean is say for example you met the man/woman of your dreams shared everything and planned to spend the rest of your life with them and be buried with them etc. if they died for some terrible reason early on and later down the line you met someone else and fell madly in love with them who would you be buried with and would your first love still be waiting for you at the pearly gates?

Actually, I tried speedating once and was dissapointed cuz we were 10 girls and the guys were 3 only. The guys I meet were not really looking for a lifetime partner but it was more of meet and greet. I was given the match at the end of the session. So, I just called up the guys in my match. I was dissapointed they will just reply in text message to meet up soon but it never happened. It so happen that the one guy among the 4 matches I got told me that he didn't have a gf but after a few days I got a call and that girl told me that the guy I'm texting is his bf..Yuck! I have wasted my 800 pesos for paying in that Speedating Event. I would rather go to the spa rather than waste my time for nothing. Imagine, I got 4 matches and the 4 guys I've called up was not available everytime I wanted to meet up..Oh know, not again..Maybe I would rather watch a piano concert or join some organizations that has similar interests to mine like piano club or booklover's club or writing club.

i have noticed a woman I am working with keeps mimicking things i do. for examples

1 when I get a clean hair cut - i can see she has done her hair in a way I never seen her do before.

2 when i start to wear checkered clothing - she wears checkered clothing which i never seen her wear

3 when i tell her i like unique people - she will go out of her way to show me she does weird things

i thought these were flirtatious signs so i ask her out - and she tells me she already has a partner which is fair enough so i decide to leave her alone but she keeps greeting me and mimicking me and following me.

whats the deal, why do women do this, what is their intentions?

My best friend needs my help. Her boyfriend for 2 months, who is by the way 14 years older then her is very insurcure with himself. They have agruement about topics that are not even topics. we are still trying to make this realtionship work and i do believe that we love each other a lot, but when we make plans something always comes up and he cant make it(sometimes it dont but usually it does) he go for a few days and not even call me(i feel like i have to call him at least once a day if not more) i just wonder is this realtionship able to be saved? Only a couple of days ago I had a one night stand with a friend. I've know him for about 5 years on and off but have not seen him for a few months. Got chatting down the pub and then we ended up in bed at my place. We have always got on very well and there has always been a spark between us. Neither of us could believe we were in bed with the other. I have always really liked him and would love for us to see how things go. We both had to go to work the next day so I dropped him back at his and we had a kiss goodbye and see you soon. If it was just sex then ok at least it was amazing sex but if the truth be known I want more and always have done.Before when we have seen each other down the pub etc there is no other person on the planet, so much so that people have commented on him not being able to tear himself away and looking at me like a love sick puppy. So not sure how to handle situation now we have had a very wild night of passion and whether there is any chance for us.
