we brokeup and now he says he will change. what are the odds of this happening? its been 2 1/2 yrs of going thru the same problem. i personally think he wont and it really doesnt matter now. but i was just curious to ask can a 44 yr old man change his bad habits? sometimes i think he doesnt even think what he done is really that bad. so how can a person change what they keep denying. even if they know the real truth. what do you think?

I split with my ex 6 months ago after nearly 4 and a half years together, he wanted me back after 3 weeks, but as he still didn't know what he wanted, it never happened. I have been doing well moving on and we have remained close friends. Today he told me he is bringing a girl to our friend's birthday party tomorrow - a first date. Even though I don't want to get back with him, I still feel gutted. How will I enjoy myself at this party if he is there in my face with this new girl! I really want to be strong. Any advice would be appreciated!!!

We recently got in an arguement about her meeting another guy. I over reacted huge time and I should understand that she's just meeting him to talk. We've been together for 4 years and the guy just got out of a relationship about that long too. We recently broke up a few days ago too. Should I be worried or anything? Am I over reacting? She's never hid anything from me before and now I feel like she is. I still love her and I couldn't say that I've never met a girl before because I have many times. Nothing ever happend though. I'm pretty up front with her. So I'd hope she would be with me too... right?

My almost 3-year relationship with my ex-boyfriend ended 4 yrs ago.To cut the long story short,he was infidel.But up until now,he continuously denies that he cheated.We're civil to each other and have our own relationships (he's still with that girl, by the way).Yet, despite the fact that it has already been 4 years since my life's drama took place, I still couldn't help but wish that something bad happens to them - may it be them splitting up or just get a good case of Karma.They are still very happy together and I can't help but feel upset about the fact that they are still not paying for the pain they've caused me.

It hurts really bad.

I know this feeling is abnormal, thats why I just want to find a way to forgive them and release all the ill feelings I have towards them even if they dont acknowledge the fact that they've practically ruined my life four years ago.I know its possible to forgive people even if they do not admit to their own wrongdoing...i just dont know how...

ok this guy and me have been friends for awhile then all of a sudden he tells me he likes me so then I tell him back. the next day he brings me this bear and I wrote him a letter telling him how much I like him. And now he is being a jerk . My ? is Why is he actting like this should I just give up.

ive had a good childhood, grew up enjoying success in the social arena was always a joc, in primary school i was going out with girls in year 6 and 7. Always been part of the so called "too cool" group not that id call it that myself. Im now 18, and the problem is i havnt had a girlfiend since primary school. its not as if im not looking every time i go out im always on the prowl. However still nothing. I get a lot of interest, if i do say so myself im quite attractive yet whenever i think about interacting with girls i get nervous and think about way too much stuff like "whats she gonna think if i say this or that or do this and that", i seem to have a total lack of confidence. For example i became really good friends with one girl online and id met her a few times in real life, it was a sealed deal, she told me she told me things she told noone else and she top friended me on myspace, but after meeting her in rl i think she was totally put off by my lack of confidence. please help

Ok, I going to try to make this as short as possible. Basically I was with this girl, it was like a one nighter kinda thing, she got really atatched, was blowing up my phone constantly. Yesterday she calls me and tells me that she is back with her ex, but wiat hers the crazy part, she denys ever doing anything with me she says that she hypnotized me into thinking that we did something that night, I was like wat the (you know the rest), and then I told her it fwould have been easier to tell me that she didn't want to talk to me instead fo telling me some story, bu the thing is she keeps calling I don't answer. everytime i talk with my bf about a problem he always says "but it wasnt like that or he wasnt trying to do that" why is he doing this? i know what i see and i know what something looks like. so why is he always saying the opposite of what something is? its frustrating and its making me always haveing to question my own judgement or second check something to make sure im right. i do i stop someone from doing this. ive had enough of him being in denial of everything when we both know the truth. what should i do? i have talked to him repeatedly about this and he continue to do it. but he only does this when we have a discussion about our relationship. plz help with advice.

Is this discrimination?
My boyfriend attends a religous college that has rules for dating. They recently told him that he is no longer allowed to visit me at my home even if other people are there. We are an interracial couple. I know of other couples (of the same race) who are allowed to visit eachothers homes. Am I wrong to be upset by this? What can I do?
