Only a couple of days ago I had a one night stand with a friend. I've know him for about 5 years on and off but have not seen him for a few months. Got chatting down the pub and then we ended up in bed at my place. We have always got on very well and there has always been a spark between us. Neither of us could believe we were in bed with the other. I have always really liked him and would love for us to see how things go. We both had to go to work the next day so I dropped him back at his and we had a kiss goodbye and see you soon. If it was just sex then ok at least it was amazing sex but if the truth be known I want more and always have done.Before when we have seen each other down the pub etc there is no other person on the planet, so much so that people have commented on him not being able to tear himself away and looking at me like a love sick puppy. So not sure how to handle situation now we have had a very wild night of passion and whether there is any chance for us.

don't be pushy if he wants more he will let you know. But don't keep letting him hit that without taking about the future

Go for it! That is if you can handle being with one person. You sound old enough too if you're going to the bars, but thats always something to consider when dating a good friend. I've done it and it can make for a lot of heartache, but it can mean an amazing relationship too (which is what I have now!)

Feel free to change the rules. If he doesn't want to change them too, you had your night together. If he does, you have a boyfriend. I think your best bet would be to keep things casual like you have so far, but start spending more time together. That way you can move forward without an awkward, relationship-defining conversation. Worst case would be another night of good sex.

I would suggest having a in-depth conversation with him. See where the both of you stand, see whether you are both on the same page. Since you are friends and you have slept with one another, it doesnt seem as though there's anything to lose.

I think you should go for it. at least you'll know for sure and for a friendship thats lasted 5 yrs I dont think it would ruin it if it did go wrong. its always best to be freinds first and at least there was no pressure when you did have that one night stand. coz it wasnt awkward afterwards either i think thats also a good sign that things could work between you. go for it! xxx

Take it easy. You don't want him to get freaked out and run a mile. You obviously like him and there's no reason it can't go further, but test the water and take it slowly.

Calm down. Take it slow. Just act normal and try to bring up what happened and see how he acts. Or you could be brave and sit him down and tell him what you want! Good luck!
