I am a decent looking guy, athletic, etc... I do receive attention from the girls, but once I know the girl really likes me - I lose interest. Or I let it continue for a couple of weeks and then quit. The only women I really want are the ones that do not pay any attention to me... Ok wanna-be psychologists, what is going on here?

You like forbidden fruit. You like the challenge. You wanna try to get the girl you know is not going to look at you.
It is lot deeper than it would appear on the surface
How can I tell. I somehow feel there is a parallel to me. I am somewhat like that.
What others consider as beautiful attractive girls, they do express an interest in spending time with me and want to get to know me. I am not that interested in them, and the guys think I run around with a chip on my shoulder. I could have many girl friends if I show some interest in them. But no, not me.
But the girls I do really like do not give a damn. I have not figured this one yet. I do not know how to solve this problem.

Well, most guys like a challenge that's why guys are so into sports. When a girl pursues a guy the girl is no longer a challenge and you lose interest. If you watched a football game and you already knew what the score was going to be before the game ended then what's the fun in that. When a girl chases you they are showing all of their cards to you there is no mystery and the fun it taken out of the game of love. Always remember.... what you chase will run so when a girl is chasing you there is no wonder you run. However, when a girl is not paying any attention to you she becomes a challenge, a mystery and therefore, you remain interested and you want to get to know that lady that is a challenge. It's called the game of love.

it's seems like women are more of a sport for than an actual relationship. it sounds like because a girl is interested in you that you feel like you have won them over, and there is no need to further pursue them. You want a challenge i presume, find a girl that is out of control and doesn't care about anything in the world including try to win her over, see how far you can take that. Unless you have deep relationship issues that need some tweaking then it's a whole different matter, hey you could even secretly be gay? i doubt it though. you shouldn't do that to a lady though get them hooked then reject them it just sounds like your trying to get back at them for something. and there is my wanna-be psychologists no expert opinion

At work are you always looking for a challenge? If so, it could be your basic personality. Some people like the challenge and always take the difficult path because of that fact. Look at how you react to other things in life and how you respond. It will help you understand yourself better. You might need to learn to get over a predator instinct when it comes to dating. There are any number of posiblities.

I am not sure on how old you are, but a lot of times when we are young we like to have things that we cannot have. (In relationships). The chase is the fun part, and then when you get them to like you, the fun is over.
As you grow older, and realize what is really important in a relationship then you will realize that you want somebody who is really into you, and who cares for you and a lot of times it is hard to find a person like that.
Its really normal the way you feel, I think most of us has been like that, its not really until your late 20's or so I think, that you start thinking about more serious things in relationships and wanting something a little deeper.

Its simple, we few SCORCHER MEN rarely find chicks who aren't interested. SO many of them throw themselves at us that we actually have to dodge bodies when we walk from the car to the front door. When a chick isn't interested it screws with our ego, then like Ceasar, we feel compelled to divide their legs and conquer.
