There are many things I want to do in my life. Is it too late for a positive relationship should I pursue my own interests first? I have an abusive past and have had disastrous relationships. I want to go back to college and pursue a degree. After all is said and done is a positive healthy meaningful mutual relationship possible? I am only beginning to consider that it may be. Thanks!

I have a crush on this guy, and I'm very, very, shy. And no one knows how much I really want to talk to him, but there are some problems. We are supposedly giving it "one more try." And he is up to it again. This time he is using online "hookup" services and giving out his number and calling himself single. He is denying it's anything but he acts different now--like he usually acts when he's cheating or looking around. He doesn't know I can view his online activity which I know is deceptive--but I had to know. I know I should dump him--the sex isn't even what it was before this started. But I don't want a huge fight; I don't want him to know how I know what he's up to; I don't want to lose him---but I know he obviously really isn't mine. Help!

That there are certain people who can NEVER attract anyone of the opposite sex, no matter what they do? These people might be totally normal, with both good and bad qualities but nothing out of the ordinary. Yet there is an unexplainable reason why they never score. I am a 23 year old man in such a situation. How do I figure out what I'm doing wrong? I'm not talking about sex. I'm just referring to normal chit-chat leading to romance. After we broke up my ex said we would still be friends. He would still talk to me and hang out with me and our friends. But then he started to avoid me. It's gotten to the point where I'll walk up to our friends and he'll just turn his back on me. He won't even look at me. He dosn't talk to me at all. He won't go to any of the after school clubs we were both in before either, and won't tell his best friend why he decided to quit. We had a pretty mutual break up, he just didn't want to be with me anymore and I didn't plan on staying in a relationship where I wasn't wanted. I never did anything to hurt him. He has told me he dosn't love me anymore and that he never wants to be with me again over e-mails so I know he dosn't have feelings for me. So why can't he just be my friend? I'm not trying to get him back, but it makes things kind of weird when hes avoiding me and I don't want to lose a friend. Maybe I can fix it if I know why hes being like this. Any ideas?
