How to Be a Confident Teenage Girl
Don't wonder anymore how to appear poised and perfect. These steps will give your self-esteem a boost. Just relax and be yourself!!!
Steps
Have good posture at all times (sitting, standing, walking) especially when you're walking alone.
Be well groomed. Wash your hair often (enough for your hair type), have your nails done (paint them light colours or clear). Never let your hair get messy, go to the bathroom during break to check on it and while you're there, apply your lip-gloss.
Have your own unique clothing style. Make sure you have a closet full of clothes that fit and are "you". Also buy cute underwear and be sure that it fits.
Jewelry. When you go shopping for jewelry, choose cute studs (especially for schools which have rules about jewelry), bold bracelets and necklaces (basic stuff). Then choose other stuff you like.
Make sure you always have pads/tampons in your bag at all times and change pads regularly to prevent accidents.
Do all your schoolwork and do your very best every time. Study for tests, do homework and all assigned reading. Answer questions in class and ask intelligent questions.
Speak properly (clearly and audibly) and don't swear a storm, unless you're really pissed off and even then don't swear in public.
Develop your talents, if you're good at dancing, take up a class and polish your skills, if you're good at sports, take lessons and join a team.
Watch TV shows and take note of behaviours (social) you like and blend hem into your daily life. Also, listen to lots of music you like. Get an iPod, MP3 player, or a CD player. Build a collection of CDs.
Let go of friends who do not respect you or like you for you.
Be nice to everyone you come across and smile at people when you pass them while walking.
Socialize and make friends with your parents (if possible) and make conversation with adults but remember to be polite.
Tips
Don't chew your nails. You can't paint them and make them look pretty if there isn't any nail left!
Always know what you're talking about. If you don't you'll end up looking stupid.
Warnings
Don't curse in front of boys (it's a big turnoff and makes you appear unintelligent and insecure)!

Don't over do it, and the next day you come to school dressed like a hore.
Slowly bring out your true self.
I was basically a shy girl, well i still am but I've reached a comfortable state where i'm between the two. So go slowly, you don't want to over do it and completely regret it.
So just live alittle, and slowly become more talkative.

girl you jst need practice. if you practice talking to people it will come more naturally. or you can try to get into doing something that makes it easyer to talk to people like a play or something. for me i found singing and now i can't shut up. another thing to try would be ansering questions. for example listen to your math teacher well. then when she asks a question you can answer it. if you start doing some of these things i garentee that shynes will go running out of your body. but makeshure not to over do it and become snotty because that is 40 times worse than being shy.

And if human beings dont such as you considering which you havnt kissed all and assorted or had intercourse...they're stupid you opt for for knew pals. stable good fortune [[=

hey, i was just like that 2 years ago. i felt unnoticed, and like a wallflower.
so i decided im going to just pick a tv character, or book or anybody- and act like them a little bit. then when you go some where act as though all eyes are on you, and theres a HUGE spotlight of you.
suddenly youll feel so confident, and when talking to others, youll still be in charachter, but soon after a while- your true personality will come out.
dont worry about embarrasing yourself!
ujst go for it, and trust me, it WILL work

I used to be shy too, that's the total truth. my life changed when i met my friend chantel, she is odd, ha ha, sounds mean, but its true.. she isn't normal like other people, but the thing is, if you find someone who has a lot in common with you, but it different from other people.. it seems to me, like, you will just become un-shy? and you will not only be totally comfortable.. but you will also be korky.

If you're hot, go up to a boy you like and ask him out.
If you're not....do it anyway.
