Singles & Dating - 17 February 2007

I just recently joined a Ballroom Association and taken on a new dance partner. I knew he had an attraction to me and I thought I would be able to control my attraction to him, but it seems I was wrong. The problem: I have a boyfriend! I feel like my attraction to my dance partner might be strengthened by the fact that I am in a long-distance relationship 7 months out of the year. I don't want to enter a relationship with my dance partner because I'm in love my boyfriend. But, my dance partner is determined to pursue me even though he knows I have a boyfriend! I've tried my best to say "no" to my dance partner's many efforts, but I think he takes it as "try harder!" (Okay, I come off as a little flirty.) But, this needs to stop before something terrible happens. I don't want to make things weird between me and my partner because I see him almost everyday. How do I say "you need to stop dropping by, calling me sweetheart and asking me out!" in a way that's not offensive? Help!

Ok....here goes nothing......i met this guy online right? and we;ve been going out for a few months, and everything...well last night he decided he would call and stuff, and so i picked up the phoine and we were talking...and then i guess my mom came in and she started flipping out on me!!! she waz all liek, omg who ru talking to?? u tell me right now! and i said a afriend from school, and she didnt beleive me so u know what she did? she took the phone and waz all like "Omg, ur too old to be talking to my daughter! dont ever call here again!!!" and me and him were all like WTF??? my mom thinks hes a Pedophile!!! but hes not!! he has friends that go online and talk with him!! just becuz he has a deep voice and stuf, hes a flipping Freshmen! he's still maturing for heavens sake!!! i dont have any pics to prove to my mom that hes not a Pedophile, but she even wanted to know what school he went to!!! for crying out loud,we met on a damn gaming site with Moderators that moderate the forums

Everyone keeps telling me to go out and work on myself, do new things, enroll in classes, etc, but I just CAN'T. All I think of is what he is doing and where he is, and how I want to see him. Is therapy the answer?

My crush looks at me a lot b/c she knows i like her....she noticed i got into an argument w/ one of my classmates & after class was over, I saw her looking at me from a distance at the parking lot. She stared at me for a good 2 minutes. One day, she got sick & had to leave for class, & She looked at me when she exited the door. I think my other classmates know i like her b/c of the way i stare at her all the time. I dont know her sexual orientation but she smiled at me when i flirted w/her and i'm a girl. Ok so the thing is...if she doesn't like me, why does she always stare at me all the time? She doesnt make an attempt to talk to me either. I tried talking to her by asking her if she wanted a pen, and she said she didnt need it. Now was that a sign that she doesnt like me?

Ive been kind of stressed out lately because I can't seem to figure out how I feel. My head keeps telling me that my long time crush was never really my crush and that I'm angry at myself for liking him at all, but for some reason I can't let go. Does that mean I like him or not? And I just recently ended up in a horrible and embarrassing situation with this guy, and I'm scared to show my face in front of him again. So should I follow what I'm PRETTY SURE I want? This guy and girl were dating. The girl was very catholic and refused to do anything with the guy. She was waiting for marriage. She never drank either. One day the guy came home from work and she jumped all over him and told him to make her a drink and she would **** him. So they did. They used protection. Well a little while later she came to him and told him that she was pregnant and that he had to marry her. He said no so they broke up and went their seperate ways. She had nothing to do with him after this. 9 months later she had the baby. She gave the baby up for adoption. What do you think? Does this story seem believeable or was she just fooling around and wanted this guy to "be" the babys daddy?

ok there is this guy that liked me for 8 months, he dosent know that i knew he liked me, we are still friends, the time he liked me i was going out with someone, so when he used to flirt, i asked him not to, i want to know if he still likes me, he dosent flirt at all like before, but he teases me alot, he dosent swear or call me names or is rude, but bothers me alot, and when i am mad, he just laughs, but when i really get mad he says sorry

once another friend of mine was bothering me, he put his hand on my shoulder, and the guy (who liked me before) looked a little mad and then looked away, later he was tellin me i dont like your friend he is a girl and he was making fun of him later

i don't get it, i really want to know whether he still likes me ? or has any little feeling for me? or is totally over me?

It seems as if I always fall for the same type of guy. I am so dedicated to all of my relationships and I end up getting used. I consider myself to be a successful hard working smart kind-hearted person and all people ever do is walk all over me, and I allow it. I just don't get it. I am such a great girlfriend... Everytime i meet someone they want the same things i do.But the more time you spend with them you find out that they are with you because it benefits them at the time.You are there because they need your help basically until they find something more interesting.I've been secluded for a year now.I don't go anywhere anymore because to me it seems like a waste of time and a useless game to keep playing,not to mention what it has made me become.
