I'm a 17 year old guy and all girls ever tell me is that I'm "really cute". I've never heard a girl tell me I'm hot. Is it maybe because that makes it sound more like they actually like me but cute just makes it sound like they like your looks?

Today was a perfect example. 3 girls today called me cute but none of them said hot! I was talking to some girl, I walked away and I heard at the last second when she walked away "He's sooo cute isn't he?" to her friend.

Cute makes me sound like a little kid or something.

My girlfriend left for Hawaii to see her family for ten days. I think I might be in a co-dependent relationship with her. I am sick to my stomach and I just can't get her out of my head. We have been together for 8 months and we have fallen in love. I love her daughter and her. They have really gave me more meaning than I could imagine. My big problem is that I don't really have any friends or hobbies. I work full time and go to school part time. Sometimes, I don't know why she stays with me. I'm so boring and uninteresting. There are times where she asks me what's wrong because I have bouts of sadness every once in awhile. The last thing in the world that I want to do is bring her down, but I fear that with my bad childhood, my lack of personal relationships, and my sometimes depressing attitude, I am going to bring her down and she is going to leave. Does this relationship seem co-dependent on my part? Advice? Is what I feel normal?

I've been with my Fiancee for a little under 2 years now. Last year we had a blast in the City by the Bay. This year I spurged a little and I got her a really nice 1.5 carat journey necklace, and some sexy underwear/choclate, etc. She forgot to buy me anything, and is working all day tomorrow. and said "Why do you need something from me when you have the love of a woman". - This is not like her. What should I do? call it quits?

when asked about what personality trait they are turned on by, almost all girls say confidence. but are they really just talking about guys who are confortable with themselves? if that was the case, a lot more guys would be considered attractive. the truth is, girls are attracted to those guys who have an extremely high level of confidence.the level where they feel they are not obligated to respect other people.and the fact that they look for those traits make them as shallow as guys who only look for sexy bodies on women.i mean, lets face it, not any guy can have that level of confidence.usually those are the good looking, talented and popular guys.if i'm not very confident,its not because i woke up one day and decided i wasn't going to be, but because i'm not popular, i'm not a trophy winner at anything, and i'm not really good looking. so when women say they're attracted to 'confidence',they're really saying they're attracted to those things.my question is, how is that not shallow?

Ok, so i was in my science class. And there is this guy named Eric. And yes he has a girlfriend. He sits next to me at this 4 table desk [[science class desks]]. we were watching a quiz movie where we counted points for right answers and all that. But anyway. There are these little cubby like holes underneath and we use them as footrests. And i was like, haha eric i have a footrest and you dont. So he put his foot in there and tried to get mine out so his could go in there. okay. this is confusing.

this guy has a gf from a different school. we called eachother sexy and flirted like that jokingly on IM. i started to like him. I told my friend who told him, and he said "i do like her. but i have a gf." and then that was about 3 weeks ago. i started sitting with them at lunch, and they always bring things up about "us" he gets embarrased, and its cute. now some of my friends are starting to get annoying telling him over and over. i think he might not like me anymore and he may be getting sick of me for this.

I've been there for guys when they are going through things in their lives. It doesn't matter what the problem is. It's funny now, I am single, I am a single mother of one and I work hard as hell. I find it funny that guys I meet, don't want to contribute. Then they get an attitude when I cut them off. I explain to them that I need someone to help me progress. Ok, so tomorrow is Valentine's day, and also my bf and mines 6 month anniversery. Only problem is, he is is France visiting his family. It was very sad for both of us, but he had to go. He left Sunday and will be gone until this Sunday. We still talk via email/ IM/ the phone. But its still not the same with out him. I was still trying to think of some things i could do to show him my love even though hes a few thousand miles away. Maybe a really long email about how I really love him, and maybe a poem or our song lyrics or something along the lines of that. Anything, any Idea or something that would be nice please. Heres my Problem I cant decide which girl to ask out on V day.

Theres this girl I really like but I'm not sure if she feels the same. The first time I asked her out she said someone already asked her out. The second time she told me she had dance classes. The third she told me she had a tutor. This was one year ago now when I talk to her she smiles at me, speaks in a nice tone, and always greets me first when she sees me.

I know for a fact she didn't lie because she kept bragging about her dance classes and our class was so hard you needed a tutor. But thats besides the point.

Then theres this other girl that really likes me and has been wanting to go out with me. But the thing is she doesnt like me for my personality she likes me because I can sing and was going to perform but didn't cuz my band never rehearsed. And she doesnt know my personality is like. The problem is I only like her as a friend.

Which one should I go for?

ok there is this guy i really like well i wasnt sure if he liked me but there were some hints that he did, i always catch him staring at me sometimes and stuff like that.and one time in class he was sitting next to this girl who he is friends with and all of a sudden the girl goes."hey, he wants to go out with you!" and she used my name.and she doesnt know my name, which means he had to mention me at one point cuz i dont know her. so i was happy lol, and im just like "uhmm.ok.? lol"and today i actualy started talking to him and stuff, it was cool..but then i found out he has a gf. what do i do? and also the thing is, his gf is a peice of s***. we were talking once and she goes "ughh he's so annoying, he keeps sitting next to me at lunch and like talking to me whenever i see him." and im like"umm he's ur bf isnt that the point?" and she's like"not really. hes bein annoying" and i said then dump him. and shes like, "no he's too hot, ill wait a lil while so i can keep my reputation" HELP.
