Nowadays chocolates and red roses are so common to give as a gift. Nothing beats a kiss and a cuddle on valentine day.
Well, if your partner like gifts then buy some thing solid. A ring or a bracelet or perfume to mark your love.

I say a candlelight dinner that you cooked preferably but if you can't cook, then go get her favorite food from a restaurant take-out and put it on a plate like you cooked it ;) ...As a gift, get her something she can keep (not flowers), but a teddy bear or necklace with a pretty pendant on it. Rent a cute movie, some chic flick that you think she'll like (ex. The Devil Wears Prada) and just sit on the couch with her all night.

Believe it or not, it's NOT the gift, it's the thought that you put into it.
There is a perfect gift for each girl...it's one that shows that you know her (can you talk to her mother, bf, etc?)...and that you put thought and planning into it (kinda hard at this late date!).
One really cool gift I saw was a CD, complete with printed CD cover that was personalized on the computer. It had all of "their songs", plus songs that demonstrated the way that he felt about her.
You can personalize anything...pay a waiter $50 to bring a flaming volcano sundae to your table, read a poem, sing a song, etc.
You still have time, use your imagination, and get to work!!

-well this is if your somwhere warm take her out to dinner then after that take her somewhere special in the middle of nowhere and lay under the stars i dont know what girl wouldnt love that
-if its somewhere cold do something childish like play in the snow its soo much fun the take her insite and if you have a fireplace site there drinking hot cocoa in front and cuddle with her that would also be amazing for her

Something that is romantic and origional/ all men have to do is come up with something cheezy and that is just for that special lady. For example a poem , a walk in the park and all of a sudden there is a blanket with a dinner for two, Roses (petals ) in a bath or in bed along with candles. Another good one is giving a oil message

I'd like some flowers that he found and picked along side of the road and then i'd like to have a home cooked meal, he doing the cooking, then cuddle with a movie and some necking to keep our bodies and hearts warm

well, i think the most romantic thing you can do, leave her little messages ..ie..notes around the home, txt messages , email, with little poems or anything from the heart..buy her roses,(traditional)..chocs too, as most women love chocolate..run her a bath, and fill the room with candles, and make her feel special all day.. works every time

my bf to come home. He works in the oilfield and has been gone just over a month. I would give anything to have him home for even just a day or two.

Tennis racket and equipment (bag, balls, etc). Then you guys can go and play tennis together. It's really fun and a creative gift idea.
